When Bakugo said "Izuku, Can I catch up to you?" it wasnt in terms of power. It was in term of heroism. In that moment Bakugo finally fully understand Deku' sacrifices and how Deku felt having to fight and analyzing the fight while in pain and while having to save people. At that time, while All Might is his favourite hero, Deku is the person what he aspire to be.
The fact Bakugo had his hands in his pocket all this time, was because he was holding onto that card to build courage to talk to All Might & have it signed 😭😭😭😭
15:16 Bakugo talking to All Might's vestige is possible due the events of the MHA: Heroes Rising movie (All the movies were made canon recently). Even if he's not the active user, Bakugo's been for once the holder of OFA, so it makes kind of sense to see him being able to see AM's vestige. Let's also remember Deku has seen AM's vestige before in past episodes since season 2 and going forward.
When his voice was so soft and his face wasn’t angry during the All mighty vestige and him scene, I started crying so bad cause like-he never sounds so fricking genuine AHHHHHH-and it hurts so much more cause he’s literally JUST A HIGHSCHOOLER
The first death flag in this episode was when Aizawa asked for Bakugo to be saved so that he could make it to graduation and finally become a top hero. It even uses the trope of a sudden flashback to set experienced anime fans’ thoughts on a specific track by making everyone focus on the big 3.

@@pdas4182 well I always say the bigger the fandom the more bad apples will be in it. That’s just how it is. When it comes to Bakugou, Gojo or Levi, lot of fans are super delusional though. Isayama generally has received waaaaaasaay more death threats than Hori and some crazy „fans“ even camped outside of his house and Mappa studio at some point.
I have never seen in anime reactions this widespread level of denial. It’s so interesting. I mean I kinda get it. The character archetype that Bakugo represents generally sticks around so this is an event that goes against the grain traditionally. But I think that’s what makes it so good.

If you REALLY want the worst case of denial I've seen in any fandom from any fiction category in like the last 15 years, look no further than JJK. (manga spoilers, even if most know) and the death of the strongest, Gojo Satoru. Not only are JJK leaks a phenomena on their own, Gojo's death is the most widespread and GLOBAL fictional death I've seen in a LONG time, easily one of the biggest in fictional history. And 95% of his fans are genuinely convinced that he's somehow gonna come back, and concoct insane theories every new chapter to cope with the loss. Its ridiculous.
@@JoeFasho209Reacts No, it is denial. They are in denial of the fact: "Bakugo is dead". It doesn't matter even if the show tries to make it clear and obvious. They're already thinking of ways to grow his heart back, bring Eri, etc (all of the ways that Bakugo can live). Being in denial does not make anyone an idiot, it's pretty a pretty normal response. It's a fictional show about superpowered people, so just accepting the death make a person an idiot just because of all the possibilities to save him unless it's clearly stated that there's nothing anyone can do. Bottom line is, you're wrong and this is a classic case of denial.
I read the manga but this episode really hit a whole lot harder. It’s sad to see him go out like that but at least he went out on his own terms. He could’ve stayed back but he chose to give it another shot 😭💕
Mirio causing Tenko to resurface momentarily was nice. Tamaki's Max power laser COMBINED with a bunch of other animals and Nejire's energy doing less damage than Bakugo's explosion from last episode is kinda wild. ShigAFO kept trying to downplay Bakugo's accomplishments. But Bakugo is the one who burned off nearly half of his face. Bakugo is the one who put the most damage on him. And for just a moment, Bakugo was faster than ShigAFO could perceive. The definition of speed blitzed. Bakugo knew that he was being targeted specifically to hurt Deku. That the other heroes would try and fail to protect him and end up not surviving. So he walked towards certain doom on his own. With his entire body overflowing with pain. Just like Izuku. Analyzing the enemy and mumbling to himself. Just like Izuku. Rushing forward no matter what might happen to his body. Just like Izuku. Last episode Bakugo remembered Izuku saying that Bakugo was himself because he'd never say that he'd rather lose. And so Bakugo thinks to himself in this episode that he has to win. Despite not having OFA, something about Bakugo began to make AFO flustered. Something about Bakugo reminded him of something he'd faced before in the past when he still had his face. And so he struck Bakugo with everything he had. Bakugo landed near his All Might card that he'd kept since childhood with Izuku. In those final moments, Bakugo regretted not asking for an autograph. As the light above faded to rain.
A pinpoint attack without obstruction is gonna do more than a wider area blast being staggered by all the hands and fingers. The real crazy thing is that Mirio is apparently able to punch Shigi there and not have his hand fired from the laser.

I will admit that the ties to the second movie is just a throwaway line in season 5 that is mentioned super quick, and well the vestige of all might being right there. Everyone thinking Bakugo's heart exploded thanks to his quirk upgrade when it was really from being pierced by Shiggy. I made that mistake too when it first happened in the manga, but thinking about it now it wouldnt make sense for someone's quirk awakening to literally just kill them like that 😂
Nitroglycerin is a vasodilator my friend. It's often used in emergency heart attack cases to widen the blood vessels and increase blood flow. So when Bakugo is secreting all that excess nitroglycerin, it has a severe effect on his heart and blood vessels. So they're already swollen, which is a precarious situation. His heart almost certainly exploded. Now that might have been from getting hit by ShigAFO, but I really don't think his heart got pierced.
@@Akshay_PJO ah, fair enough. I suppose then it could have been either one, or perhaps even both. But it would be the only instance in mha I can think of where someone's own quirk awakening killed them
The music, the animation and everything during Bakugo's last stand was just spot on. I don't think it could've been done better especially with the subtleness of the announcers voice while he's explaining the quirk. something that even this late in the series still hits home.
This death blindsided me and first of all to me this one of the best anime episodes ever and I didn't have MHA high on my lists. But besides that I think I can say that Bakugo is one of the best written characters ever after this episode, he had so many layers and even though he was a bully, he wasn’t your stereotypical bully, and you could tell he had empathy and he had intelligence and in the end he was thinking of his best friend and empathizing with how much work and pain Deku went through and in the end Bakugo became the epitome of the world’s best hero by committing the ultimate sacrifice to save ppl. Anime deaths don't usually get me but this one did cuz i think I didn't realize how much I liked the character until he died you know?
Manga readers had it rough too, because the illustration of the manga shows just how devastating the damage was with the pitch black shading. He was mostly depicted with a gaping hole on his chest
Key point since his palms were getting maxed out trying to release the sweat, the pours couldn't keep up with the sweat amount. So Bakugo sweats naturally all humans do. But only his palms were made to handle the release and explosions that come from his quirk. Bc they couldnt be release via palms they sought swear pours else where. So he was literally on a countdown bc his sweat the glycerin was now being released throughout his body (where it's not suppose to have the glycerin, nor is it made to withstand the explosion part) plus he was triggering his explosions. So at the end it around his heart hence why he has a hole there. (That and he got hit by shik) So even if eri rewinds him, it would just happen again if he jumped back into the fight by possibly this time he's lose a limb, his bottom half, to half or even blow his head off. Simply bc his bodies not use to the evolution/adaptation of the side effect of his howitzer move.
To explain Bakugou seeing All Might vestige. Yes it’s canon. The movies are canon, as confirmed by the creator. The movie also took place before the events in the current episode. So Bakugou was seeing the actual vestige of One For All.
from my recollection of the manga i think bakugo's sweat, because it couldn't escape through his hands, made its way into his bloodstream and then when his final attack was triggered it essentially blew up his own heart.
I promise you that in ch 362 (when this happens) It wasnt his own quirk that damaged his heart. It was Shigaraki. BUT, if you read the manga there is insight later in ch 405 where a bead of his sweat is brought up in conversation regarding his heart. Thats all i can say without spoilers.
For you guys to understand why Bakugo saw All Mights Vespa, you need to watch the movie: :My hero academia: Heroes Rising. It confirms that the movie is canon and part of the story and also why Bakugo could see All Might within himself. Another little side thing that would be explained by watching the movie, is why Bakugos eye was glowing in that "special" way. Don't want to spoil, but you need to watch the movie to understand a couple things in this episode.
I must to congratulate Morgan for that reaction, at same time it's so frustrating and feels a sadness sense we all are worried about Bakugo now, i finally watched all Boku NHA reactions since 1 episode until now, great work from all of you, plus ultra 👏👏👏
15:16 Bakugo's sees All Might spirit, because of the movie Heroes Rising. In the movie Deku give One for All to him. So still exists a flame of the All For One in him.
same Megan. same. The way i cried when this chapter came out. That image is a two page spread at the very end of ch. 362. Idk if its just a rumor, but i heard that there were like 14 kids who uhh, brought themselves to Hades because of it. btw the manga is currently on like ch.428 and there will be a total of 430. From here its so freaking intense. and i cant wait for yall to reach ch. 403
What got me in this episode is when his Mother said " That kid hates the rain.." That alone told me enough. seeing him like that afterwards just fucking sucked.
sorry to say this but as a manga reader Bakugo's heart was blown in half cause the sweat couldnt be pushed out fast enough so it exploded internally by all means a corpse hit the floor not Bakugo
This has to be the best season of this show by far like goddamn this episode felt like the Pain arc in Naruto to me 😂sad & brutal wtf why Bakugo😭but makes sense no one’s really died that we majorly care about like this will affect Deku soo damn hard
The parallelism between Deku and Bakugo is uncanny. Just like Deku, Bakugo started to use his Quirk with his hands and then learned using his quirk with his entire body just like OFA Full Cowl.
Demn Baku'gone' 💔. We need "revive revive fruit", oh wrong show Brook already ate it in One Piece. JK. not gonna lie nitroglycerin all over your body as your sweat is a crazy upgrade. Imagine if Bakugo have hyperhidrosis. that's like unlimited booms.
This is a great reaction that ranges from Morgan being emotional, Dani being semi-emotional and Sam being least emotional. I was/am firmly in the Sam camp of "I don't believe it!". My hero is not that type of show. As I mentioned before, we haven't lost anyone of note in 7 seasons. Not including the tertiary characters like SAS, Midnight, and Nighteye. Now if My Hero was more like Full Metal Alchemist, Naruto, or AoT I would definitely have more feels. As Sam, Morgan, Dani and other reactors have mentioned Eri exists, and for me as long as she is there (figuratively) and other ridiculous powers exist in this show, it takes away from weight and consequence of the story. Great episode overall though. This one week on and one week off schedule is killing me though. lol
All I’m gonna say as to this episode and what they were trying to convey with the heart thing was, it didn’t stop, his heart got blown apart in his chest cavity, he has no heart in his chest.

I love how everyone got nervous with the Big 3 backstory lol
To explain Bakugou seeing All Might vestige. Yes it’s canon. The movies are canon, as confirmed by the creator. The movie also took place before the events in the current episode. So Bakugou was seeing the actual vestige of One For All.
I have no way to express how sad this was, except they somehow made it sadder than seeing it in the manga.
Regardless if he leaves or dies, that last scene with Bakugo was very disturbing. When he was popping off, that animation was sick nice.
from my recollection of the manga i think bakugo's sweat, because it couldn't escape through his hands, made its way into his bloodstream and then when his final attack was triggered it essentially blew up his own heart.
Nejrie can control her output level of her quirk that’s why it’s so badass. That’s why miriro wasn’t hurt
It’s actually impressive people didn’t know this before it was adapted. Nor what will happen
Me seeing this at the gym, knowing I can’t watch it without crying for the 5th time. *puts heavy metal back on and resumes set.
The best chapter of this anime ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The movies actually are canon. Hell Star and Stripe origin was a scene from the first film.
The anime did this so beautiful and very emotional

RIP Young BakuGOAT
Bakugo's eyes are devoid of life showing he is literally dead.Shiggy is too op holy shit. Make a new heart? The denial lol.
7:56〜
こういう回想ストーリーで表現するとこマジで好き🥹🧡
Nejire: “This is my boyfriend Tamaki, and this is his boyfriend Mirio.”
Mi trio favorito ❤❤
LMAOOO the girl in the middle "wittaly so cwazyyyy"
IM SO EXCITED TO SEE THIS REACTION!!
Denial is a river in Egypt Bakugo is Bakugone!!!
Terrible day for Rain
I’m not that much of a MHA fan but even I felt something when they showed him dead
God, I was dreading watching your guy’s reaction to this. This episode was so painful.
THE BEST IS YET TO COME
For you guys to understand why Bakugo saw All Mights Vespa, you need to watch the movie: :My hero academia: Heroes Rising.

Bakugo's sees All Might spirit, because of the movie Heroes Rising. In the movie Deku give One for All to him. So still exists a flame of the All For One in him.
Bakugo had the best character development 😭
yep he is officially bakugone
His heart literally exploded
Stabbed.
Next episode preview states this
@@1999bazz Stabbed or exploded. It's been a while, can't remember.
Big3 is What i came for ❤ and i loved it
My heart goes out to everyone seeing this event for the first time. So does Bakugo's 😏
The madness that erupted in the manga community when this panel was shown was wild
Morgan: There’s still a part of him that can be…
Me: Reached 😊
Sam:…Manipulated 😈
same Megan.
I hope they do the funeral scene justice 😢
sorry to say this but as a manga reader Bakugo's heart was blown in half cause the sweat couldnt be pushed out fast enough so it exploded internally by all means a corpse hit the floor not Bakugo
gave bro the nobara treatment
People's reactions are so good
i would’ve definitely cried if i didn’t get spoilers from manga readers 😭
monoma and bakugou are my top 2 favorites so this episode and the next are very much hitting (as a manga reader)
Horikoshi in this episode: And now I'll give you death flags.....for the wrong person!!!!! *maniacal laughter*
I have finished 7x12, and I still cry after watching it again
same
His heart exploded because of his quirk awakening. The all might scene was inside Bakugos mind. The copium is real
shigaraki hit him mainly tho
9:07 Tell that to all these influencers and celebrities
rip Bakugo
when everyone was crying i was laughing so hard like i was the villain that killed him or sum 😂
Stage 1: Denial
Bakugo had a quirk awakening, which was too much for his body and exploded out of him
Denial of Bakugo's death is craaazyy here lmao, his heart imploded 💀
This one week on and one week off schedule is killing me though. lol
i was just as shocked! when i finished this i was shocked and looking forward to pack's reaction ToT
All I’m gonna say as to this episode and what they were trying to convey with the heart thing was, it didn’t stop, his heart got blown apart in his chest cavity, he has no heart in his chest.
This part of the manga came out close to a year ago iirc, the manga is wrapping up the final chapters now (think there’s only 2 left)
remember in the movie when deku and bakugo share some dna i dont recall clearly but Whn you use all might power and your body is not fit with it, yea your hearth will expload like all might said to deku when he passed down the one for all. correct me if im wrong in some way haha
Bakugo's bakugone, guys. Let him rest.
People love to forget a very important fact....
That's a child.
