I'm glad you demonstrated this laptop in pure tablet mode and folded it with the keyboard attached. Very few reviews show it being used that way. They tend to focus on the dual-screen aspect of the device. Great product. It's a shame upgrading it is nearly impossible.

I bought this the day it released, and i love it. I use my desk setup daily and this whenever i work anywhere else. Its 2 second setup. The screens are so amazing. I am a bookkeeper and need mutlple screens to work. I have had multiple setups before that required lots of cords and having to carry a large battery with me. This has a 7 hour work time. I keep a small 65w box charger in my bag.
5 months and still love it. This is my first Lenovo, and it has some cool features my hp doesn't have.
I was traveling with a surface, and it was so overpriced for how slow it was. I use it now for watching videos or shows and checking email.

Very nice review probably the best one I have seen yet! I wish the screen has 700nt brightness like x1fold gen2 for outdoor!

Thanks for the really great, informative review! One thing I'd be curious to see in your reviews of battery-powered devices is a chart of its charging characteristics, like how fast does it charge 0 to full (and/or from 20% to 80%), and how does charging efficiency vary along the way?

I really wish Lenovo would release AMD version of this, the bad igpu from Intel is a deal breaker for me. Otherwise seems like a great device

Imagine a 780m on this thing … it would be too darned good

That and a version without OLED screens. OLED is great for entertainment but this thing is begging to be used as a productivity machine, which means worrying about burn in

Exactly, I want 2 screens, good CPU, good GPU and battery life! This will be perfect for coding

Intel has 80% and AMD has 10% laptop market share for a reason.
Further, there no thunderbolt with AMD.
I dont know any white collar professionals who use an AMD laptop.

      @@msp5138 what's the difference between usb4 with 40gb/s and thunderbolt 4?

It is a good review, but at the end the video just stopped. That’s why I gave a negative verdict.

There is ZERO need for a TOUCHPAD on a touch screen laptop with pen support.
Both are literally a thousands times faster and more accurate, as is a MOUSE.
Also see how COMFORTABLE using a touchpad is in a tight area like an airplane.

Really good review. I like how much you actually went into the various ways you can use the device and showed the experience.
I am thinking about getting this as a software engineering student. So note taking plus multi window programming type stuff. Do you think it would be good for that? Better than a macbook?

MacBooks aren’t really comparable. They are super nice but can be a hassle
This one here is quite nice. I am also a fan of the Lenovo Slim pro 14” (2023 amd), and the slim 9i (which is expensive).
Check out my slim reviews if curious. Of course the Lenovo legion 7 or 7i slim Gen 8 are both my favourites overall.
