So this is something that I find a little frustrating about subscriptions! I don’t think that boxes should send very highly specific complexion and face products in their monthly subscriptions if they dont offer customization or send items based on a profile set by the customer. Products such as foundation, concealer, and very pigmented bronzers are probably something better left to the customer to pick for themselves or explore outside of a subscription box. Their website has a section called “training” on the drop down menu that contains online classes. And when I search P Louise, the physical Google location is called P Louise Makeup Academy in England. The website is weirdly vague though and doesn’t have much of an “about” section lol.

I looveee underpainting and I think it definitely made a difference. I typically underpaint with cream/liquid and put powder over the top - so exactly how you did. :)

Ive heard that p louise is basically for muas to stock their kits so the not having a quiz would kinda make sense but also i feel a great way to get the word out on products would be having something the mua could use themselves?
You should dive into more cream products! I feel like once you learn how to work with them, they're beautiful. I love putting cream contour and blush then bronzer and blush powders on top.

For putting the bronzer on first, what I find helps is to apply it, and put the foundation on the blank spots in between the bronzer and buff the edges so its not a stripe instead of putting foundation all over the face! Just a tip! :)
So one of the reasons that the bronzer is so orange is because bronzers are supposed to add warmth to your face. If you were looking for some thing to add shadow to your face, you would be looking for contour. Shadows are naturally neutral or gray tone, so contour is typically a neutral color, or has a gray undertone. Contour is what most people would use on their forehead and their nose, and their chin to add shadows. I was watching a Robert Welsh video and learned this, and it was really helpful for me!

Mine came in a totally different box this month 😂 they really must reuse old outer boxes. I ended up gifting the products to friends in my box this month because I wouldn't have used them.
I think P. Louise has nice products, but this box is expensive to be getting 1 or 2 items that you can’t or don’t use. It DOES make a lot of sense is someone is an MUA and is building or replenishing their kit though 😊 I always love to watch you unbox it and try on the items! I think I commented about this on the first vid you made about the P Louise Budget box but these are created for aspiring MUAs. P Louise made an Instagram vid when it first launched explaining she wanted to create something that would help aspiring MUAs on a budget get a kit together so they could then earn a living. It was her way of giving back to the community.
Ohhhhh I lovvveeeeee that eyeshadow palette ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ but I agree about the bronzers. You should be able to pick your shade. From what I have seen everyone received the same shades of bronzers. I have seen a few other content creators do the under painting with the darker bronzer shade and it looked really really nice. Just be very light handed and your beauty blender has to be wet lol. Of course Alexandria you made a stunning look 👀 because your always beautiful ♥️
It’s a make up box for MUAS to build a collection that’s why you get so many of the same product in different shades it says it on the website if you look properly, that’s why it’s like it is it’s not for everyone. My friend use to get it to build a collection and she’s a mua she loved it, and it really helped her with her collection, although I wouldn’t get it as I’m not so it would be pointless for someone like me and you. 🖤🖤

I have super fair skin but have been able to use both the bronzer colours you just need a tiny bit and blend lots! 😂 I personally love the pink eyeshadow. They are very pigmented and blend really nicely. I would recommend p louise products generally.

I have recently started trying cream bronzers and blushes, mainly due to PLouise. I also thought these shades would be too dark for me and I am a good couple shades darker than you. But I found they blend down so nicely and make my skin look so good that I am converted....even with these darker shades, in fact I do not think I would pick different/lighter shades now
From my understanding this box isn't for the average consumer, it's for people working as professional make up artist. That's why they send so many of the same product because artists will need various shades for clients.

@@Alexandria-RyanIt used to be marketed to students as part of the Paige Louise Makeup Academy system, a bit like how an art school provides subsidised materials to their students. Since the academy became bigger online I don't think people realise the full name of the company (and shop) is P Louise Makeup Academy. Everything she does is actually primarily geared towards MUAs but they do sell to the public (a bit like an arts and crafts supply store - aimed at craftspeople but won't turn down anyone else). Hope that helps a bit! 🖤

Well not everyone for sure and it's a specific look that some of the girls do but it's def not the majority of the UK popular looks. You can easily sheer out the products. I use them & love that you can be as sheer or as babam! that you want depending on how you feel
The trick for using the bookmark is to use your nose as an anchor. Put one corner under your nose then angle the bookmark to the outer corner of your eye. Do same on other side. Now you got even angles!

Plouise likes to send stuff to push you out of of your comfort zone. I got a really dark bronzer too but I've figured out other ways to use it.

I believe a blending bud is always supposed to be used when it's damp. I recommend trying that next time and see if that helps 🧡

I use the liquid bronzer as a contour, it blends down very well and you don't need much :)

I love the pink. You pull it off fantastically.
You can use a face cream like olay and mix it with the bronzer which will lighten it up
Yeah, I'm not sure I would keep this box. You did manage to pull off the look but the last couple of boxes would just be hard for a common makeup user I feel.

If I ever get into wearing makeup I'd buy this brand. The texture always looks nice and the colors look pretty intense and widely varied.
I've heard the blushes are great but I've not been impressed with the boxes, for the price I'd maybe get use out of one product out of each box you have got.
I've not been tempted to buy one yet.
