The Full Story of KHEM VAL Explained | The Dashade - SWTOR

Khem Val was a member of the Dashade species. A species that was known for being brutally good at killing force users. Unlike trandhosans or mandalorians who might fight a force user to prove themselves, a Dashade is different, they kill force users so they can eat or devour them. Literally and physically. This gave them an intimidating and fearsome reputation among the galaxy. The homeworld of the Dashade was named Urkupp however this planet was destroyed during the great Sith war that followed Marka Ragnos' death.

Did any one notice that we actually can observe Zash’s masking ability a to slip altering her face it’s super subtle.
When we first meet her Zash has the head type # 3 sharp cheek bones thick lips and round noise. After we kill Skotia and meet with Zash after her promotion her head type changes to #1 more rounded face smaller lips and a sharper nose.
I think most of us myself included don’t notice this because her hair/eye color is still the same as well as her complexion with the Darth title came a more fancier robe that serves as a red herring to distract us.
The crux is her face has started to sag giving a bit of environmental storytelling and a subtle message to the more observant player that all isn’t as it seems with Zash.
After all a nice lady Sith Lord that encourages her apprentice like a soccer mom was already sus enough Khem knew something was wrong.

The player is actually able to make Khem Val his or her love interest. Unfortunately this is never expanded upon. Khem Val even expresses his admiration of the player char in such a way that he thinks we "smell good". Whatever that means. Anyway he must make preparations for ehm... the marriage. And there we stand. Propably the engagement period will last through the remainder of the game. Everything else is left to our .... imagination.

3:21 possibly the structure where khem was housed was some kind of underground fortress and naga sadow tomb was build over the structure, possibly in the hopes that whatever dark energy from tulak hord artifacts housed there would influence the tomb in some way.

Maybe? Hard to say as the game doesn't explain any further and it doesn't even explain how they found the dashades tomb. I think it was kinda just thrown together without too much thought.

@@swcentral yeah, even talos drellik mentions the inconsistency. Possibly originally we were supposed to find khem elsewhere or naga sadow tomb was originally for another Sith Lord but the devs change it to naga sadow because he is a recognizable name.

A lot of recap for me who now started to replay the Inquisitor's story (as a Darkness Assassin, inspired by you of course) and Khem Val is one of my favorite companions in SWTOR. Out of curiosity, what's the armor worn by the Inquisitor right at the beginning of the video? The one that's wearing Kallig's mask.
