It works partially as the ID changes every frame, I can't get the bubbles to be constant. They are randomly removed every frame. Is there something else I can't see? How do you make the seed constant?
@@structurexmahesh we’re really doing this aren’t we? You are not the only one that does this. It is so much easier for beginners to have the scene file rather than click node for node pausing a video and starting a video over and over again hip files are incredibly small. They should be posted somewhere for download and it also eliminates errors.
We are not talking anymore? lol Guess you don't want to reply to as why you don't feel the need to post a scene file that is like 2mb or less. You could google drive that
@@zurasaur I'm using flipsolver. I think I've achieved something by placing an attribwrangle node after the flipsource indicating i@id = @ptnum; Am I going the right way or do I need to do something else?
@@LeandroSalerno like I just said, you need to go to your flip container node - under attributes, enable the ids The ids will still change if you’re using the ptnum as ptnum is changing per frame, so that wouldn’t work
I always wondered how those bubbles are added into a viscous sim. Now I know. Thank you.
Whatch it honey sim
Technically, this is not advection. But nice and to the point bubble generation. ☺👍

you have to off random seed in the solver
@@structurexmahesh perfect! thanks!
Looks awesome! why did you randomize the rotation though? they're spheres, right ? :)
yea, in this case its useless but when you are using something like a flake instead of bubbles then its needed
i guess this only works for fixed number of sim points (no reseeding) as you are using point number , not fixed point id
yes correct
The scene file pls!
and your problem with posting the scene file issssssssssss what?
who are you ?

The pain when u simmed with no id attribute! 😂 is there a workaround? Hah
Could that be the reason why I can't get the bubbles to be constant? The ID changes in each frame, how do I simulate it with the id attribute? Thanks!
Yes, if you are using the sop level flip, u enable the id attribute on the flip container node
On a DOP level flip u enable it on the solver itself 😀🙏
