I still don't get how to actually use pipe gates. The belt filter was easy since it just redirects where the shapes go, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to do that same thing with pipes. When a color I don't want gets to a pipe gate, the whole thing just stops. Where do I send the color I don't want? The in-game tutorials don't explain anything about it at all, it's super frustrating.
There's a lot of good information in this video but it could be organized a lot better. Maybe this is because I did not play the first game, but I really have absolutely no clue what wires are and why I would want to use them on a fundamental level.

You forgot to mention the transmitters primary function, which is to send signals between platforms
