For anyone saying he isn’t a good drummer, which I think is the VAST minority of people… because he is widely regarded as one of the best rock drummers currently. Let’s see you try to brute force stomp out (no heel toe no swivel) eighth notes at 150bpm + for 16 measures straight and maintain feeling and stay on the click, then MAYBE you can talk trash. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg with Daniel’s talents. I don’t think people realize how difficult that is.
Everyone always has talked about the z cymbals and how the a customs replaced them, but I’ve always found their sound to be cheap and tin like tho their explosiveness is cool
I wonder if this kid has ever heard and/or watched Louis Bellson, Gene Krupa, Joe Morello, Roy Haynes, Art Blakey, Charly Antolini, Max Roach … the list goes on and on and on. Thankfully, there are still enough of us around who find the odd video stashed somewhere and they get uploaded to TH-cam and Facebook so we can keep our memories of these guys alive and well.
It’s a heavy, gritty style of music, plus the drums and cymbals are punched up on purpose to highlight the drum-centric playthrough. Also, I’m pretty sure the shirt off is okay.
He’s free to play how he sees fit. Its music, its art, its expression. Additionally, he can wear or not wear whatever he wants. He’s not the first musician to not wear a shirt while performing. It’s been happening for years. I guess you better go on every TH-cam video that has a musician without a shirt and say the same thing? Let us know how that works out!
Love the energy this guy brings . Great drummer
Daniel Fang, you are a force! Drums, cymbals and sticks are simply vessels. 🔥🔥🔥
You can feel in the video how heavy are these cymbals to be moved
Woohoo 🙌
Now it's a Holiday 🔥
Grande drummer Metal BPM molto tosti. 👏👋
✨
I love big crash Z Custom. Matt Cameron used it on the Pearl Jam tours in 98 and 2000. Unfortunately, he changed it to another line
He probably had his reasons 😎
@@andreasbreitwieser1449He changes every tour. Must like several
Yeah totally sickness

he's too sexy, i'm blind
Load the abe video please!!!
Mistery, pls
He dare to crash that heavy weighted 22 ride??
I love this drummer but is it me or do the new Z customs sound just as bad as the originals 🤷🏻
Agreed, also quite the change going from K line to Z customs.
@@marklesowski4839I don’t think it’s his main setup. Just a promo video with his drums.
Yea this is all just to push these trash can lids lol
I’m not a zilijian guy but they have some nice cymbals but these are trash
absolute unnecessary. I was happy that the ear bleeding kind of cymbals disappear, but..... unfortunately .......

turnstile to road
for my taste brilliant cymbals fit turnstile sound much better
Another marketing ploy to encourage people to buy imo not very good cymbals. Great drummer though.
Didn’t even hit the china once lol
Daniel uses stacks it’s been a while since he’s had a China in Turnstile

Horses for courses
its good to know the past but its dangerous to STAY there. Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin' into the future........😄
1. Someone explain to him how microphones work, no need to bash everything
2. It was ok to wear a hat, but not a shirt?

This the dumbest comment
I almost liked this comment and added my 3 cents, but I couldn’t word it so it sounded nice, so I’m going to walk on.
@@DoctoRhythmyou call that heavy & gritty music?! Lmfao
A weak drummer!
its what the girls want ! 😄
Tell me why and I'll tell you why you're wrong
