Revan had many masters, but he surpassed Kreia understanding of the force, recognized that the force is a neutral power, it the individual who makes it good or bad compared to Kreia who think wiping out the force will free everyone from it suppose chains.
He's a decent and incorruptible person and disney doesn't seek decent and incorruptible people. They seek out people to use and manipulate. Kinda like darth sidious.
The annoying thing is that I remember the last jedi trailer almost hinting at this. Where Rey is telling him what she sees (aka lightness and darkness) and he replies with something like "No, it is so much bigger...". I genuinely thought we were going to see him wield both light and dark for some really epic powers...but what we got was just meh.
It’s a huge honor for Luke Skywalker to meet a Legendary Sith/Jedi. Revan is a great character, great warrior, and a mighty war hero. Freedom is our right like Optimus Prime says it is.

The dialogue Revan speaks in this video. Reminds me of his Kotor self. In Kotor canon, Revan saw through the flaws of both Jedi and Sith and master both sides. Revan seeing through the council were corrupt by their own dogma and arrogance, that they let the galaxy burn by the Mandalorians. Blindly believe the Sith are the true threat of the galaxy. Revan sacrifice himself to the darkside after learning about the True Sith in the ruins of Malachor V after the Exile gave the order to sacrifice the planet to destroy the Mandalorians. Revan turned Sith to prepare the galaxy against the True Sith, but instead his ideas led to his childhood friend Malak to turn on him. Revan is right, the battle between light and dark isn't always black and white. The force purpose is to give a destiny to all, in order to repeat events to preserve its balance.
From 3:21 onward…GOLD! Just pure gold! No corporate entity could compose such a moment. It takes an artist, one with heart, as well as understanding, to make such magic. No one could play the complexity of Revan or match his spirit as well as Mr. Reeves IMO. May the Force truly be with you, friend.

Many religions feel like missing pieces to a puzzle, that would give us a wider understanding of how our universe works, had we the patience and desire to see the puzzle more complete. Revan is a prime example of someone understanding what it is like, if he has seen both sides.
It's really hard to blend all the different takes on Revan and Luke Skywalker over the decades, but you deserve praise for blending better aspects of these characters. Such as Revan was interpretated differently between Kotor 1, Kotor 2, Revan novel, SWTOR and later DLC. While Luke has had a few different takes in Legends, plus the Sequels. Overall, i enjoyed it, even though I definitely fall into the Kotor 1 and 2 camp, plus with Luke from the OT, Thrawn books, and New Jedi Order.
It’s content like this that should always be at the forefront of Star Wars, that despite the conflicts raging around the galaxy, the force will always endure and shall be around long after the Jedi and Sith have been forgotten.
This video made me cry over the fact that Keanu Reeves isn't 30 years younger, he's amazing as Revan but is simply too old to play a character who was in his late 20s/early 30s for the next 16 years. This is by far the best one you've made, great job!

The Jedis single minded thought process makes them so easy to turn. Revan and Galen Marek/Starkiller was so great. In the books it Galen Marek had thoughts about how single minded either side was.
This was awesome! You couldn't pick a better actor to portray Revan than Keanu Reeves. Maybe Luke should try having a discussion with Darth Marr, the only Sith Lord to become a Force Ghost, about the nature of the Force and its Light and Dark sides.

This is masterfully done. We get to see a Revan who has philosophically surpassed his first and last master, perfecting her teachings and correcting its flaws. Kreia would be proud of who this Revan is I think, passing down the truth of The Force.

This was awesome! You couldn't pick a better actor to portray Revan than Keanu Reeves. Maybe Luke should try having a discussion with Darth Marr, the only Sith Lord to become a Force Ghost, about the nature of the Force and its Light and Dark sides.

This is masterfully done. We get to see a Revan who has philosophically surpassed his first and last master, perfecting her teachings and correcting its flaws. Kreia would be proud of who this Revan is I think, passing down the truth of The Force.
