Bringing the fibers to a neutral PH is a good idea, however, it doesn't prevent wicking. There could be a soda or coffee spill that penetrated the backing of carpet. The drying process after the cleaning will wick some of the original spot to the surface. Also most fiber rinses are acid based detergents that leave a residue. Thanks for your videos. I always enjoy them.
This is one of the reasons I went with the Rotovac Ranger instead of only the CFX. With the CFX you can only rise with water, and that's a big no no. The other reason I got the Ranger is so I can clean T&G. As always, great video. Keep 'em coming!
can this be applied with a inline/pump up sprayer after cleaning, i do mostly t&g with a garden hose direct fed pump (no water tank) and adjust down add mytee heater to clean carpets. I vac,pre spray, aggitate , rinse and recover. I dont do much carpet, but come across a bit of berber and always on edge incase of browning, hasn't happened in over ten years of cleaning, but always a concern.
Happy holidays, I have a question for you I I cleaned the carpet in my bedroom Last week I used a pre spay I ordered from truck mount forums. I sprayed it on the carpet With a pump sprayer and then I used warm water to extract it from the carpet. It is Brown the carpet it's Brown now which I was told was wicking. If I Try it again next week how do I use the rinse do I use it after the pre spray as well how do I apply
This is a problem for most mom & pops. They treat this industry like a hobby and that it's not that difficult. It's not difficult but I can be if you don't know what your doing. just curious, I use a steamin demon because I do mostly multi story apts and I was wondering, could you use that rinse in a pump sprayer, or would that not work?
i use flex powder on every single job for pre spray and don't use rinse, guess what every costumer turns to client. i really feel like that's waist of time. i woude use rinse only on white upholstery and barber carpet.
Ok, wasn't sure if you had to use a whole gallon on 1 house (4 rooms of carpet) In the past I have always used plain water but am making the switch to using a rinse. So if I clean 4 houses a day, I'm guessing it should last about 2 days.
Nice video...Carpets just look and feel better with an acid rinse to bring the ph back down.Keep bustin out those jobs and putting that green in your pocket.

thanks bro & and you're so right, cleaning without a rinse is a BIG NO NO.
I love prochem all fiber rinse the powder one that smells really good not the green bottle liquid one that smells like baby wipes
After watching this, i went to the store right away and got a rinsing chemical for me.
I had backing problems too.
that's great, and one of the best decisions you made as a professional cleaner. Trust me you will notice a big difference in your cleaning results.
If you want repeat business You must use a rinse. You will never get called back to a house that you left crispy carpets in. Good man Courtney
Great video as always.

Just go back and extract with a acid rinse, you left to much cleaning agents in the fibers

Do you add the fiber rinse to the solution jug with your solution?
depends on the water quality of your area but great info either way
So how do I add the rinse do you just add it to the turbforce or pumpsprayer like prespray ?

Good info. How is the rinse applied? Do you spray it with a sprayer and rinse with clean water?
This is what I’m wondering. How do you apply/use it
You getting money. I just started and hope I can get jobs like that.

True Clean Carpet Cleaning depends on how much you clean, honestly 1 Gallon can last 2 days - 1 week.
