- The elder scrolls online update 41 comes with some HUGE game changing alterations and ENHANCEMENTS to the status effects system. Harder hitting, buffs and debuffs and all round reevaluation the previous impact it had on content as awhole. Status damage is what separates damage TYPES and now it is ever more important to choose which way to go with your builds!

nice one xy, i think most people like myself wont bother going thru the tutorial info and would rather run in and start smacking/shooting/zapping stuff, theres a lot of useful info but its hidden away in menus that a lot of us either miss or just cba with lol, having a vid explain it to u in easy to digest terms is much more appealing, cheers again o7
Would you be able to do a video on Bleed damage & how it works?? Ive been working on a bleed build & want to know how it works exactly & what Champion points I can use that will max it.
Vamp nb is a good class for bleed

Now, Bleed itself is not damage over time, but hemorrhaging IS a damage over time, so it will be buffed by Thaumaturge?

ZOS introduced so many confusing and complicated terms that is hard to understand. Other mmo are far more friendly
Frosty pvp magden with some hrothgars, vateshran ice staff with ele sussss. The status effects are about to tear through people. It was broken on the pts.
So this is why the Tarnished Nightmare set from the new dungeon hits like a truck and melts bosses lmao, that guarantee sundered proc every 8 seconds after you deal a crit damage (which the set itself gives a lot) you basically have 60% crit chance and my numbers have been pumping up, not only does the set burst damage in trash mob, but if your tank can pull multiple bosses together, the glass explosion gives sundered to everything it hits!!! It’s insane! Way way better than pillar
Nice explanations. Wish they would make a bleed damage glyph though. Only effect you can't trigger with a glyph.
Yea but technically you do not need it, as lots of skills already proc it, but I believe new set will eventually come that guarantees status effect like the tarnished nightmare from the new dungeon (which IMO is busted lol)

Wait, physical, bleed, poison and disease are also considered elemental status effects? Meaning they will also proc trial by fire?

I take it then my, and others full Ice damage Cryo Wardens will have a DPS boost.
Question, sir: can multiple people put the same debuff on a single enemy? Like a trial boss getting multiple burning status effects from the four pyromaniacal madmen in the trial group?
Each person can independently put on ONE of EACH status on the target. But debuffs, are unique so they overwrite. BUT yes, essentially if 4x people all bought burning that would be 4x burning. But each person reapplying it would overlap their own.

You can mix max everything as well, game is designed that way, usually 8 dps in a trial and there is 8 status effects! Each run a different status and you can do the hardest of vet content!

I think i was able to apply burning on a single target with a HA with an inferno staff.
Maybe I'm wrong but the target was on fire after i did that.
I am a bit of a newb when it comes to deeply diving into ESO but ive neen playing for years.
It went live because they ignored feedback on the PTS. Shocker
Let me be clear, having played this game for years, my main character being a Necromancer.
The one class in the game that has been nerfed, nerfed, nerfed, and nerfed again. Now destruction of Necromancers is complete. RIP, Necromancers

Not that you need it, but, here is a brief synopsis of my ESO experience and you may assist. so I started as all do a complete nube;; My first venture into PVP was Imperial City, I was destroyed immediately, this kind of put me off PVP, Years later, I am an PVE champ soloing group dungeons and world bosses with ease, even soloing an Harrow storm, so I think lets try PVP again, as it was an event. I have done a lot better, but, when faced with a real PVP'er, I am still dead. Where before I had people run from me in PVP, now I am nothing as I am an Necromancer and an update killed me. This is an player crying for help.

Blighted BB is now azurblight on command. Them ad pulls in hel ra are going to be hilarious
status effect application always been like that... I remember charged at one point with heartland conqueror it was 480%. Serpent disdain is one of the best set in pvp rn people are sleeping on it. I`ve been running it about a year ago too and it slaps even more now but I just dont like the meta vate/masters id rather not run cheese.

Hi, i’m pretty new and have a question.. can chill/burn/concuss stack?? I’m a necro main, so i have ice and fire skills. So could I have an enemy burning and chilled?

How about light/heavy attacks with a weapon enchanted with flame damage and has charged trait?
so with heartland and charged stave it is 114% chance to proc weapon enchant effect? 20 chance with charged 470% is that right? or is it 490% seems bit excessive if 100% is enough

So I’m still kind of confused so did they make it so all poison damage scales up the lower the health or just the poisoned Proc
Technically poisson has always dealt more damage the lower the HP and was always an execute, some poison damage skill explicitly say so, but the poisoned status does more damage the lower the HP is, gives you more flexibility with your build!
So. I know masters dual wield will be nerfed. But as for pvp is vateshran ice staff maarselok and masters is still good bc I proc all the status effects?
Masters dual wield now scales with weapon/spell damage. So if you are a low damage tank, it sucks.
But if you have stacked into Weapon/Spell damage, you just got a buff.
Rip Nightblades. from 112-115k down to 98-100k dps. Best update we got soo far

Unless you are in PvP, then NBs get a buff.

Its crazy how far this game has fallen. It had SOOOOOO much potential, and almost all of it went to waste.
I have developed a rotation/play style, that has worked for me for years, in both PVE, and PVP; all gone. Your saying, just switch to poison blast bones, that has always been lame and probably still is, next you will say to use your bouncing sculls, they get boosted. Nope, Nope, and Nope. Having invested years in an character in an game, does ZOS really believe that I will be happy to start all over, learning a new way of being successful, with what is now a completely useless class.
