Bro no goddamn way. I’m sorry to tell you dude he’s a rush down dude. Rush down characters should never EVER have crazy damage. It’s literally their character type. For all of the moves and tools he has he’s lacking in damage. There has to be some drawback dude. Can’t have perfect characters.
Black Canary is a pure rush down character, and look at the damage she can cash out! However, I agree that after practicing with Ermac a good bit, his damage is somewhat okay given all the other tools he has.
hes not perfect, he's horrible against zoners, his tele is slow as hell, his "projectile" is insanely punishable (also takes 2 bars to trap them if you enhance said "projectile"), his cancels on block are -20. No ones asking for him to be able to do 45% conversions every touch, but to have to use so much to barely scrape at 35% without fatal blows is ridiculous
People don’t understand easy concepts. When you have insane pressure, good reach and a good toolset and a bunch of combo routes your damage shouldn’t be sky high
Rain is now completely broken 😂 and I’ve been playing him since day one water gates are now more viable he got a new MID launcher and a new advancing 12 frame mid that is special cancelable & safe on block 😂 I’m gonna be cooking this season

Tbf they did the exact same thing with Peacemaker and Raiden, JC only has high damage to make up for most his special moves being mainly combo extenders and damage buffs which in itself is bullshit
I never would've expected Ermac to have the same ability as Enchantress where his meter takes damage instead of his health. I would say he is strong but his only weakness is that his damage is not very high.
Ive found Ermac Sareena combo to be really good DB4+meter burn into uppercut, while the opponent begins to stand, B+Kameo for Sareena's double toss, repeat all, then jump in While not a full put together combo, that jump in is almost guaranteed if they're not paying attention and you get the repeated phrase to hit. Really good in Invasions especially His combo damage is nice and strings are long, but his basics or moves on their own or short strings are so low.
@@martinezbiz Just a way to get some good starter damage and a nice booster throughout the match. And the ability to juggle, while not as good as Scorpion, is still there, which can be really good for his aerials
yea you’re wrong man he does great damage especially with scorp, meterless 2 kameo combo =40% and one bar and one kameo= 40, you just have to know what moves to use and what you’re doing
Cant wait for the shujinko video. Been playing him since launch and i love the new stuff they gave him. I play johnny and using shuji with him is amazing

He is definitely a bit complex but as rushdown tools type he is pretty amazing. As hype as he is I am waaay more happy with the buffs to reptile, they finally made my main worth playing lol
I don't know, I just haven't been able to enjoy Ermac the same way I did in MK9 and MKX, I think the fact that he is a rush down character now is probably part of that problem. It just doesn't feel the same anymore. I guess MK1 has enough zoners at this point and I am not asking for Ermac to be a zoner, but I guess I also wasn't expecting this.

Ive been getting 45% w one bar with Ermac and Janet he has damage but you gotta find the proper move sets and specials, also gotta keep in mind when you use the air db2 in your strings the dmg is a bit less
Here's something here Ermac in this game can do his turning his opponents Tiny and squashing them in this game but it's a brutality instead of a fatality as how mortal Kombat 9 had it
if you use the right kameos and know the right kombos his damage is perfectly fine, if not good. like he can get 40% meterless midscreen with janet, even more in the corner. if you wanna spend 2 bars, he can get 52% with janet in the corner and thats just something i came up with that probably isn't even optimal. he has good damage, maybe not by himself but with the right kameo he does, plus all his tools makes him a really good character.
His damage is unfortunately lower than I would’ve liked, but with what I learned in practice so far, I’d argue he has better meterless, no kameo damage than sub. I say that loving Sub Zero since day one!
With 2 bars and full Kameo you can steal a set or round with him and do a combo with fatal that will get you 53% and it’s not hard at all if I can come up with it lol
On that shrieking souls you can jump after the dash and air Kombo like 123 and his damage is pretty low unless you utilize his suspend in certain ways then it helps get it up to 30+
Ermac has always been my #2 and have to say I'm pretty happy with him so far in training and towers but I gotta see how he holds up against live players
My personal issue with Ermac was how frail he was. I swear when he received damage, Ermac would take nearly double the damage that the other Kombatants would normally take. Needless to say, when I was using Ermac in Season 5 of Invasion, I always end up boosting his Defense and HP stats whenever I earn a rank.

Ermac does not need a damage buff. I'm getting 45-50% for 1 bar with 2 kameo. 42% METERLESS with 2 kameo and 30% no meter. I think alot of people just do not know the best start ups due to him just coming out.

Pokes are amazing unlike Quan. His cancel adv. is safe and with meter its plus etc. you gotta be trolling or D as F to think he needs buffs.

I have so far played Ermac in three matches and won all three. I used very basic moves since I don't have much experience at all with him yet.
