Man, you gotta love Suo for looking up to our boy Sakura for how "dependable" Ume already sees him (god I wanted to type Gojo for some reason lol) this episode was great. The blushing of Sakura hits different when he's with the Furin clan. His character growth is one of my favorites this season tbh.
Also Sugishita pulling out the Jin-woo face slam.
At the "Weaksauce" part he said "よっわ” (yowwa) which is a sort of slang ish way of saying 弱い (yowai) which means weak. So "Weaksauce" isn't too far off the mark.
Also the imagination part. 想像力 (souzouryoku) is directly translated as "imagination" but more so it's the power or ability to create mental images of things or events. It's not so much having an imagination but more so the ability to create a strong image? Something like that.
That “create mental images of things or events” is giving me martial arts discipline vibes. Kids and teens learning martial arts has been a way for them to climb the stairs to adulthood by using their experiences learning Martial Arts and applying them to life.

The outcomes of these matches don't matter and Umemiya says that because it's more or less about pride in these matches. They could win all matches and if Umemiya loses it would still count as an loss because the boss lost. And i think the 2nd in command only suggested a team fight as an excuse to fight Sakura because we were told that he is also very pridefull and doesn't let it really slide if someone breaks into their territory.
We will learn the reasons why Shishitoren is the way it is and why a team fight was chosen as certain characters “talk with their fists.” It’s good stuff, so I’m looking forward to seeing it in the anime.
I think what Suo meant by imagination, it means someone needs to imagine themselves in a situation that they’re making fun at, ridicule of or bullied at. Like take a bully for an example, main reason why the bully continues to bully because they don’t understand what their victim is feeling then years later, the bully gets bullied. Basically like karma. Imagination is a broad term but for Suo, he’s using the term “Imagination” as experience.
“You will never understand how one person feels if you never experienced what they’re feeling.” Something along the lines with that quote. Also the outcome of the fight excluding Umemiya doesn’t matter because only the result matters in Choji vs Umemiya’s fight. I believe all Bofurin will win

Yeah he was breaking it down one block at a time. The argument is that the biggest difference between children and adults is the ability to feel empathy, which requires imagination (the ability to see from a different perspective) and experience (through which to ground the imagination). Imagination alone won’t help because you’re right - children have wild imaginations, and that’s Sugo’s point. Grounding the imagination in reality is where it truly steps up. Children’s imagination is often fantastical, but you become an adult when your imagination is grounded in reality. You truly only understand that reality (especially the harsh realities) though experience. An interesting concept, and I like the way he went about breaking his opponent down and getting him to see it.

If there is one, i think it would be Hiiragi, other than him, i dont think its pretty good for the plot ngl. Sakura is, idk. They hype them up for being dependable and keep his word with action, if he lose, he just lose all his credibility lol

@@rainscents Naw, Hiragi definitely can't lose. He's one of the 4 kings. Having him lose so early before he even plays a part in the story would be way worse than Sakura losing.
@@fweaboygamingit make the most sense tho. We see how strong Sakura in this couple episode, but he still a 1st year. If he lose, he will know his current level is and need to level up.

Yeah, no man, as can as an Architect/Civil Engineer I can easily tell you, imagination is FAR more important that experience. This is what makes truly brilliant designers and engineers.
Experience is amazing but only get you so far and ultimately to a very cramped box of nothing. I don't care about how many jobs you had before, I care about how can you solve problems and deal with them as fast as possible.
The thing is Suo doesnt mean only imagination, its wrong of him to take his word partially and not whole. His imagination means to emphatize which means to imagine themselves in someone else's shoes. While experience is just something that ppl will definitely earn when they get older, emphaty are different and more important to bond a relationship.
The whole fight is basically Suo teaches him to emphatize being the victim.
After experience comes foresight. Once you’ve seen or experienced enough, you reach a point where you know you shouldn’t just blindly throw yourself into a situation, like you might’ve done when you were a kid. This way, even if you don’t actually experience something, you can potentially gain twice the experience by either preemptively figuring out a way to avoid everything that could go wrong or simply making the better choice, or lesser of two evils.

the fights dont rly matter at all, they r all fighting for fun, the only fight that winning or losing matters in the Leaders fight, the others r just chilling, Umemiya said so himself

I only saw a quick review but Isshou senkin looks kinda insane for an mma manga based on the screen shots and especially the mc.

Some people mentioned it earlier, but I just want to make it clearer. Basically, only the fight between the two leaders is important, and the other 4 fights are essentially for the members of Bofurin and Shishitoren to settle the beef and vent it out. This is not a 3 wins of 5 matches kind of tournament, because if Sakura or Hiragi win their fight, the leaders won't even have the chance to fight as it is 3-0 or 3-1 already, and it wouldn't make any sense. This will make the results of the 3 matches left unpredictable, you cannot guess like "oh so they will lose the other 2 matches and Umemiya will win in the last battle". Besides, Shishitoren must step up their game, because this is too embarassing.

Next ep is probably gonna be Hiragi fight and maybe the start of Sakuras and im thinking Hiragi and sakura will probably lose and then as 2 wins 2losses the bosses gonna settle it (altho the losses will be just sparks between the schools) the real deal is if the boss loses then they lose bofurin so im thinking that umemiya-san gonna wipe the floor with choji after a month from now we prob wont get the fight next week lol they'll leave us on a cliffhanger 100%
