The kick that Sako did that looks like a question mark kick is not a question mark kick. Its a Kyokushin Snap Kick it works as the same mechanic as question mark kick where it looks like its a fake kick but by holding your leg like that gives it more power and speed..kinda like a slingshot for you hold it down and release it. It will go with tremendous speed. I train mma here in Philippines and my first martial arts is Kyokushin Karate so that kick is a weapon in that art.
Bro In the last ep, Umemiya said to Sakura that, it was just his fight against Choji which matters and not any other fights. So even if they lose all four, nothing would happen, but I think that they are going to take five wins for sure. There is no way Sakura is going to lose since he wants to be at the top. It would be really hard, but I think he would win 🙂
Man, the difference between Bucchigiri and Windbreaker is huge. If Bucchigiri didn't have that one girl or the mc, then that anime would be just as good as this one. Yeah, I can understand the mc in Bucchigiri isn't interested in fighting and all, but if some of his actions and his personality didn't exist, Bucchigiri would be a lot like this.
This fight reminded me of Itachi and Sasuke's relationship, teaching the lesson of following your own path, you can learn from others, but afterward, you gotta do some things yourself.
Would learning that you don’t need or have to be the strongest be piled onto Sakura currently learning to believe and trust in others at this point in the story? If anything, I’d expect it to come in a different way with what we’ve seen so far. Like, one or more of the Four Kings of Bofurin besting him in a fight, if not Umemiya-san. Sakura reminds me a lot of Natsu in how he wants to challenge the strongest and take the top position, but I think he’s far more insecure and would begin questioning his place after such a loss. I think it would especially work better after we see him get some actual wins he can boast about before we finally see him lose and have his fighting spirit crushed, only to climb back up from the devastation. It’s cliche, but you never know.
