Thank you for all the kind words, understanding and support. I know its long but I do appreciate those who chose to listen. Its difficult to tell a lifetime of memories and get all the timelines correct especially on camera, nervous. Thanks again ❤
You’re a good girl, Christina. You were a good daughter. Keep looking ahead and be there for Dominick. Thank you for sharing your story, Hunny. May you be surrounded by good hearted souls and cultivate a sense of value from within. ❤
Hi Christina! You are enough and you need to find and focus on your best self. In 63 years I've discovered that blood relatives may not be your tribe. I pray you find your tribe 🙏 Thank you for sharing your life. I wish you all the best ❤
perfect example of having two narcissistic psychopathic parents and being trapped in a cult of a TERRIBLE family. I am SO sorry you went through all this. I hope you have broken free from all those psychopathic criminals forEVER.
Christina, When you said General motors I knew you lived in Michigan. My dad worked for General Motors. Then you said Highland I knew you lived pretty close to me. Then you said Pontiac we lived there for about 10 years and moved to the suburbs. My mom wasn’t nice either. So proud of you! Your beautiful and so sweet! You went through so much. I wish and pray the very best for you.❤️
You survived your parents. Kids aren't supposed to ever have to say that, but you survived and remained, at the core, a happy person. You have my admiration and respect for all that you went through and still thrived.
She sure did! ❤ 🙏 happened alot but no one talked about it. I feel for her. Her childhood was stolen from her and her sister too. I'm not finished the video yet. So I will stop there. 😊
@C_D_ROD you are a survivor my friend. We either repeat the cycle or break the cycle. Sending love to you today ❤ 🙏 I'm up in eastern Canada 🇨🇦 I can feel your pain 😢
Christina I listened to your story from beginning to end and was captivated. I hope you know just how strong you are. Most people couldn't handle even half of what's been thrown at you. Remember that on your darkest days. We need you here to give others hope. There were some likenesses between your story and my own and I admire you very much. Much love and support to you ❤
The fact that she is sitting there looking beautiful, confident & happy is a miracle given what brought her here. What is so interesting is that whether she believes it or not, she is the most normal of everyone, yet she blames herself for everything. You can't make yourself bipolar. I'm also bipolar, and I struggle with not blaming myself for having a mental illness, too. Thank you for sharing!! I'm sure thousands can relate & know they're not alone.
I agree! She’s gorgeous and has a beautiful way about her. Speaks very well and is interesting to listen to. She’s obviously very strong. I gotta say though, that outfit is 🔥
This poor girl had a hell of a childhood. Mark hasn't had a chance to ask her any questions yet.!! She sure knows her story well and is pleasant to listen to. Wishing Christina happiness and the best of luck 💕💞
Not every interview is him asking questions, alot of them are just like this where the person just tells the story.. there's probably a reason he chooses to either interview them or let them talk, but theyre both different styles of these videos he does
The fact that you are an upright, functioning adult is miraculous. The constant trauma would take anyone down. I admire your honesty and your resilience. You got some good genes from the parents that were'nt able to parent you. Silver lining? Perhaps. You are awesome
Dear Christina, thank you for sharing your story. The traumatic and brutal childhood you lived is so incredibly sad and horrific. Your face lights up when talking about your son, your therapist and your plans for the future. I wish you all the best on the rest of your journey through life! ❤❤❤
Christina please do not blame Yourself for your fathers passing alone. You are only human and were dealing with a tremendous amount of childhood wounding. You did what you had to at the time to survive. I pray you find healing because you deserve it. You did nothing wrong. ❤
@@C_D_RODRIGUEZ It wasn’t your doing. He did it to himself. Consequences of his choices. Sometimes is best for some people to not be in our lives. I have a daughter who I wish she would just stay away from me and I put up with a lot because of her kids, my grandkids. I have a sister who complains about her daughter being estranged but truth is she was a terrible mother to her and she prefer to keep her mother out of her life but my sister fails to recognize and accept. I would prefer my daughter to do that too but she doesn’t. She complains about me being a bad mother. She has problems and likes focusing on anything bad and imagining things that happened to justify her choices. I continue doing so much for her and she can’t see it and is never happy and continues making bad choices and being toxic. I hope you get the point here. Again, I actually do things because of my grandkids. There is one terrible mother in this story and it is not me. Anyway. I wish you well, keep making good choices and let go of the people who doesn’t want to be around you . There is much more peace and happiness when there is no toxicity around you. Strive for it.
This was a really interesting story. She told her whole life she is a really good story teller,I hope she is able to write a book one day about her life. It's worth hearing about. I wish you all the luck, love an support in the world Christina you deserve it all .❤
You are loved from everyone watching and listening to you right now!!! Big hugs!!! Much love and respect! You're so brave courageous and beautiful inside and out. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I will definitely buy your book!
Christina, i dont know if you're reading this, but your interview had my undivided attn!! Just Wow! It's an unfortunate and sad story... but you've told it with class and dignity. I am so happy you're in therapy. I wish you so much love ❤️ and support. Best wishes to you and your son. You're a great storyteller, WRITE a book. It's a good start! Many blessings 🙌 sent!!
I'm here. Reading every comment 😊 Thank you for your kind words and support. I'd love to publish a book some day. Easier said then done though. Thanks for listening.
Christine you are a delight. I grew up near Hartland in the 1980s. Detroit was like living in Rome. In the height of the Auto boom all our parents worked for one of the “big three”. My parents were descendants of very traumatized Polish immigrants. I had a very similiar upbringing as you. I was in your sister’s position in our family. You had me in tears at different points . Like you, I retained a sense of humor to be able to endure my life. I see you (and me) as rays of light to give others hope. God bless your sweet heart. I’m Your sister from another mother. Thank you so very much. 💜
I am from Novi. Hartland was in our sports conference in high school. I’m a bit older than your sis. I was the oldest and unfortunately scapegoated at 15 when I tried to individuate in puberty. My mom was emotionally immature and enmeshed with her three daughters. After the divorce, I was estranged from my sisters and lived alone with my volatile dad in Walled Lake. He dropped me off at Novi High school every morning before he went to work at Ford motor. I waited outside for the janitor to arrive in early morning to open the doors so I could get warm after a 30 min wait. There was no bus route available. I have been through profound trauma all through my adult life. I made some poor choices for sure. I did however live in Europe for five years and traveled internationally in my twenties. I am in 12 step recovery for Eleven years now. It’s sad that the whole family is estranged currently. My family are the people in recovery. Trauma therapy is gut wrenching…. many moments. Grateful that I have a heart of gold through it all, and can experience a true deep belly laugh. That in itself is priceless to me. Thanks for reaching out. Heaven help us all …..in this tribe. 🌎
Christina, you went through tragedy after tragedy and yet still stood tall and carried on, humor intact, and grit present. You are simply amazing. In some ways, our lives parallel, and I know you are hurting. But I ask that you just keep going. One day, you will be looking back, and in a place of peace. The turmoil will be a distant memory. Just keep going, and surround yourself only with people who are good, rock-solid folk, even if that means you have only a very small circle. I am so proud of you. I hope you know how many of us in this audience admire you. Rarely have this channel's videos made me cry, but I sure cried today, listening to your story. Perhaps it's because I, too, have known this level of despair and pain, brought on entirely by the cruelty of others, but in any case, I know that you can put this behind you, and some day have a happy, peaceful, joyous life. I believe in you, Christina, and I assure you, many many people in this audience are rooting for you. All the best to you, Dear.
I was NOT expecting Muskegon, MI to show up in one of these videos. I was born and raised there. Then again, one of the reasons I watch these videos is because I experienced a lot of trauma growing up in rural/small town Michigan and it's cathartic to hear some of these stories, like I can relate to a lot of these people due to my own fucked up life. I'm 38 now, but I left when I was 19 and never went back except when my mom died when I was about 24.
I started watching this video at work this morning, and with all the times I had to pause, it took me until 4:30. But I could not block away from this video. You were not a bad daughter, sister or mother yet. All of your son to everyone you care about. Many times people take advantage of kind hearts like yours. Best wishes!!
Oh honey, you are not unlovable. You survived such a difficult childhood and I am so so proud of you for moving away and focusing on you & your health. I wish you all the best ❤
Thank you for sharing your story Christina. I'm sorry you didn't receive the love you deserved and needed growing up. I loved seeing your smile near the end of the video. 💜💜💜
This was truly a heart felt story that she told SO well from start to finish. I wish the best for her and I hope good things come for her because she truly deserves it. ❤
Oh Christina...the stories we can tell,eh? The memories that we keep tucked up inside for years.Thankyou for sharing.I wish you well moving forward.Thankyou ,Mark for listening.Sometimes we have to be quiet to hear and be heard.🙏👋🐨🌏xx
Christina , I’m just finishing up listening to yours interview, bawling my eyes out because i feel you so closely right now. You are not alone and are so resilient and worthy. I want to give you a big hug and say so many things to try and help in some way. Please keep going , learning, growing, you can do this, you are doing this !! ❤ I’m so proud of you ❤
This was such a touching story. I love the sound of her voice and I think she should record bedtime or children’s stories! 🥰 thank you for sharing Christina.
I wish you all the very best of good fortune and happiness, Christina. I am a carer for my ex-husband, who has Bipolar 2 with PTSD etc. My advice is: keep a close regular relationship with your team of GP, psychologist & psychiatrist. Take your meds, eat well, and sleep enough. Live a quiet sensible life, and aim for contentment. There is nothing wrong with going back to psych clinic for meds review or anything else you need. In-patient clinic is a very important part of treatment. You dont seem dumb to me, you come across as intelligent and compassionate. Your live from day 1 has been a tale of being let down by the very people who should have been nurturing and teaching you. Its not your fault and in fact nothing to do with you. I really hope you can learn that love is conditional: only good, kind, decent folk deserve your love. Your love is a precious gift, only decent folk deserve it.
I had to pause to cry for a while. At the end of your video, i feel like im left feeling the same, after one traumatic event after the other. Similar life events. Now i sit alone, but im still here. You seem like such a kind and beautiful soul. Keep your heart golden❤ you inspire me to keep going! Thank you so much for sharing your story!!!
You are so strong and powerful! All of these videos drive home the point that broken, dysfunctional, abusive, unhealthy, and toxic family systems have generational effects on families. These neglected/abused children grow up ill-equipped to cope, heal, and overcome the harmful environment we consider childhood. If you or your partner aren’t prepared emotionally, financially, and psychologically then do not reproduce. It creates never-ending cycles of trauma. Wait until you are ready.
Thank you Christina for sharing. Keep on healing . You are meant to be here simply because you where born and your a light in a sometimes dark world. I wish you the best. My heart goes out to you as a daughter of a dysfunctional home myself. I feel sad for what you went through as I did myself but I’m hopeful and grateful. I’m thankful I chose a path of healing and recovery as well. Hugs girl❤
You matter, Christina, of course you do! Wonderful interview, well told. Some people get the wrong soil to grow, but find enough water to make it, and you did, be proud of yourself. Don't tell your son he saved you, because i think that puts pressure on him, i am sure you understand what i mean. Thank you very much for sharing your life story ❤ I wish you safe travels.
Love this “some people get the wrong soil to grow but find enough water to make it”. I’m going to remember this. Thank you. Just wrote it down in my ‘remember’ little black book.
this beautiful girl WILL be happy one day. you can see she has a heart of gold. her issues are NOT her fault. its the actions of her PARENTS/family who neglected her which has made her believe these lies about her self, her entire life. she WILL BE HAPPY and loved by somebody worth her.
This has to be one of my fav videos from this channel so far! Christina is spectacular! Bravo to her for stating her truth! Also, props to her ability to be such a good "story teller", I was literally glued to my laptop the entire time and could not do anything else until this video was finished.
I had to stop towards the end where she describes moving 3 hours away with expectations of great changes and thought of my dear old friend, TC. He used to say 'everywhere you go, there you are.'
Christina, when you say being alone but you’re next to someone, that hit . I totally get that …. I just never framed it that way . God bless , you are not alone and I’m rooting for you and applaud you for sharing your story
Thank you for sharing your story Christina. I can relate to a lot of parts of your story. I was a dad's girl too and my siblings were the opposite for some reason, I was the only one who did not get beaten up by him, and I can't help but feeling guilty about it even though there was nothing I could do. Just know you are not alone and I hope you find all the happiness you deserve in this world❤
I love her and wish her the very best! That’s a hell of a way to grow up. She’s still managing her identity. I can only imagine the courage that takes!
This one I could totally relate to, our lives were quite the parallel. We both had one child (a son) @ 19 who saved our lives & despite never being loved unconditionally by our parents, we managed to love our sons unconditionally!
Wow! Great interview. She never missed a beat! Marc just sat back and listened like the rest of us. Best of luck to you. Jesus can help you Christina. His love is unconditional and never failing.
@LeaShaw-lf5hv Just stop. If you mythical all-knowing, all-powerful Sky Daddy actually existed, none of the hell that has been her life would've even happened. Your comment is so so offensive, rude, and obnoxious.
@lisahinton9682 God gave PEOPLE FREE WILL, because he is a loving God, He isn't forceful. Be mad at people for being awful and commiting atrocities, not God ♡
Christina you are stronger & braver than you think. You are not dumb, you are an amazing woman who has a kind heart. After all you have been through..its now your time to shiine..be kind to yourself..none of what happened to you was ever caused by you or was your fault! Thank you for telling your story, i wish you all the best in your recovery & happiness. ❤
I identify with Christina more than i can explain. I grew up with a dad that called playing poker "going to work", and i guess thats what it was for him. It raised 4 kids by 3 different women. I am the oldest and was a complete daddys girl, but he never really knew me. Not really. Christina, you are not alone in that crazy kind of childhood and upbringing. Maybe there are more that identify. Thanks for sharing!! Definitely gave me comfort, and im so happy you are doing well
I’m from Hartland!! I hope you are doing well today and better everyday. Thank you for sharing. I think about all of these stories all the time. Thanks to you to as well mark for giving these people a voice. Real cool man
Hello Mark and Christina! Mark you have so many people that have shared their stories on your channel and in some way shape or form I can find some relevance in my life and my story within their stories. Christina’s stories really hits home! For the exception of her father selling drugs and her father being in prison(I never knew my Father), I 100% relate and have experienced so much of her story! Christina, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARE YOUR STORY! Keep your head up! Big hugs ❤
@@C_D_RODRIGUEZ You did really good, and people that comment about things like "uhms" have no idea how it is to sit there and talk about your life. Much love to you, Christina and you will be fine. Be proud of yourself❤️
Girl! I have asked myself the very question that you are asking at the end of your interview. I’ve been to therapy, and I’ve had a trauma coach. You will learn to love yourself the way you needed to be loved when you were a little girl. Love yourself that way. Why give your love and love others that treat you so bad. When you can love yourself even more.
What a brave soul you are, Christina! It takes courage to heal and do the hard work after what you have been through. You have so much light and warmth despite the way you were treated by your family. Be good to yourself.
I can definitely relate to the part about some parents who should not have had children. I was in the same era where children were seen but not heard. You are worthy of love and respect Christina, keep your chin up, for you are a beautiful, strong woman. 🇦🇺🦘🩷
Christina's story is sooo heartbreaking . . . all she's ever wanted was real love. ❤ I think she has a very good heart, and a very smart mind. I wish her nothing but the very best from this point forward . . . she sooo deserves it. 🙏
Christina, you’re beautiful. And worthy and intelligent and very good at conveying your life experience. I don’t know my daughter, but you remind me of her. I gave her up before she was 5 to try and save her from me and I think she too will be a chameleon to try and prevent the loss I created in her. You’re really brave to put yourself out here to the world. I wish I had your courage. Thanks for sharing your story with us.
Christina, sweet lady, you absolutely did NOT make your mom, dad, sister, partners not like you. They treated you horribly. Shame on them! You are worthy of having a beautiful life ❤
@@C_D_RODRIGUEZ I left a comment yesterday, wondering if Mark would allow you to use this video to shop your story around to screenwriters. It couldn't hurt to ask, and he might even be able to give some advice about how to contact a screenwriter. Just a thought.
@karenfryberger4260 I saw it. Thank you for the suggestion. I sent him a text. Didn't hear back though. Ill start searching on my own..not sure where to start. But, I'll start lol
@C_D_ROD From the beginning, my dear. Write from your heart like you've expressed vocally. You have a loving and compassionate soul. Beautiful inside and out. Best wishes for you with confidence, and mental strength in your journey! You ARE a WARRIOR! Continue to take hold of the reigns. YOU have and will continue to be guided within yourself to your so deserved life's dreams. Always love yourself first before others. Then you will witness the deceit and envy from takers and shakers. Look for your mirror image in another. You deserve all gratitude, love, regard and respect you've unconditionally shown and given to those that hurt you so very deeply. I believe in you. You are precious beyond measure. ❤❤
thx Mark for allowing her tell her entire story without no interruptions. Great story talk about never judge book by its cover . Great story thanks for sharing
Wow, Christina you never got to dictate your own life - ever facet of your life was dictated by others and you never got to be your own person - and everything you did was in defensive response to your upbringing - everything you have done has been in defense of your self. My mother lived a very similar life and just know if you stay strong it will always get better - she came out on top and has two successful boys and a beautiful marriage of 45 years…one day at a time ❤
So proud of her!! Girl you went outside from all this mess and you are kind you are beautiful in and out. Hope you will get the love you deserve and happiness 😊 Hello of a story! Could listen to you for hours
I love these stories when the guest just showcases their life. Thank you Christina! God bless you for coming out on top. My mother has a VERY similar, disgusting family situation :/. Only the strongest can come out above all of the evil!
Girl keep your chin up. It’s nine months since this was posted and I’ve just come upon your story. I’m fighting tears for you and just want to hug you and tell you you’re good and are going to be good. You’re proving it to be so so far. I love you and hope you’re better than good. ✌🏻🩷
Firstly, sending you a big hug Christina! You are truly amazing, beautiful inside and out...keep going, don't ever give up, you've come this far. True saying: when you hit rock bottom, there's only one way to go and that's up. It's your time now to concentrate on YOU! All the best wishes to you ❤
If I didn't know better, I'd think you were describing my mother. I'm 57 y/o and I'm still trying to heal from damage her "parenting" did to me. Hang in there. You're not alone.
❤😘🙏🏼 dear Christina ...sending you so much Love and prayers and compassion to you and yr son 🙏🏼 as is discussed many times on SWU, "your story" is again such an important reminder or a "tale of consequences " of the effects of childhood Trauma, and why parents need to be so aware of the consequences of their behaviors around their children!😢 I understand so much of yr story, but it is brave of you to share yr story and I am so so glad that you've gotten therapy, support ,help and are Smiling!!🎉❤ so brave for you to continue to champion 'the voice of children' and why they should be protected, Loved and cherished. Wishing you and your son the very Best in your next chapter of your journeys xo tara 🇨🇦
I just stumbled on Mark's channel and saw your story yesterday Christina. Despite everything you have experienced, I must compliment you for remaining poised and emerging as a survivor. Your dry sense of humor and funny ways of describing things had me chuckling a bit between the difficult parts. It's always nice to hear a familiar fellow upper-Midwest person speak and talk about some things only some of us from the area understand. I raised my now successful adult son as a single father after my ex/his mom caused us untold trauma. It takes a lot of strength and courage to be a single parent in the face of many adversities and you obviously succeeded. I have faith you were/are a good mom, that your son loves you, and that you have found your pathway to a calmer, safer, more successful life. Stopping blaming ourselves is easier said than done, but I feel you are addressing that. It's never too late Christina. Best wishes!
Thank you @Christina for sharing your story. You told it beautifully and candidly. You have a great mind, beauty, and a great spirit. Continue to share your story and shine your light. You help each of us who’ve listened to you better understand our own stories and histories, and you help to remind us how to better love the special people in our lives. Trauma can cause a person to feel like they deserve less than others. You deserve more, the very best. Big virtual hug to you and your son to aspiring to the opposite of what you’ve endured.
What a dear, sweet soul you are Christine! You deserve nothing but good things in your life from here on. I pray you start loving yourself as much as you've given love to many others who werent deserving of it!
Christina, How you feel is exactly how I feel everyday. I have given so much of myself to others only to have received betrayal and deceit. None have ever looked back and cared about me. BOTH MY SONS FATHERS I WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO DATE BUT NEVER AS THE MOTHER OF TTHEIR CHILDREN. They abandoned them. I am also here only bcuz of my kids.. i am tired of being alone literally. But I have accepted my faith to be alone without any one besides my sons caring or loving me. So i just live day by day here.. for my sons.. until the day when they no longer need me.. So your not alone and im proud of you for not giving up and getting up all the times you fall. YOU ARE A strong person and deserving of all good things. Thank you for sharing your story And may god bless you always. ❤
Christina, thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm so sorry for what you and your sister went through, you two did not deserve any of it. I wish you nothing but the best.
Mark… this interview had me DRAWN in. I was all in, every second. You are incredible sister. You really are. Much love, from Norway Mi & Grand Rapids Michigan 🤍
You have amazing clarity/introspection about your life experiences. Thank you for giving such an honest interview. It could not have been easy for you to dig that deep on camera. My hope for you is that this becomes another chapter in your book of healing. You have such a sweet soul ❤.
I remember the “wait til your father gets home” fear all too well. I was the oldest of 3 kids and if my brothers got in trouble, I got in trouble because I was supposed to watch them. if I told that they were doing something they weren’t supposed to be doing, I got in trouble for being a tattletale. It was a no-win situation, and in all honesty. I used to tell my mother that she needed to just admit that I was adopted because there is no way that they would treat their own kid the way they treated me. While I was not beaten to a bloody pulp, it was bad enough to where when reconnecting with people I hadn’t seen in years that were friends with my parents, they would tell me that they used to feel so bad about how I was treated and they were really happy how well I was doing in life despite Growing up the way I did. I’m happy for you and that you overcame everything that you did. Stay strong.
This woman is such a beautiful soul. My heart goes out to her. What a burden to carry and she doesn't deserve it. Christina ..you deserve all the love in this world. Keep moving forward. Always look forward. Don't look back.
I was so enthralled from your story telling. Your child and adult life experiences are unspeakable for anyone but you survived it all. I really do think you should write a book. The therapy from it would help immensely. I hope your son is doing good. I wish you both happiness and peace. Stay strong and God bless you. ❤❤❤
If you can love people unconditionally after all of your trials, you are an exceptional human! Why the people you loved didn’t reciprocate is due to their inability to love and be empathetic. It has nothing to do with your worthiness, but the damage done to your soul makes you feel unlovable. May you find your peace and happiness, and may you find the unconditional love that you so deserve.
You are amazing, Cristina. Be proud of the beautiful human being you've became despite all the suffering, abuse and pain you went through. I wish you all the best from the depth of my heart ❤️
Sending you the biggest hug Christina. I laughed and cried with you. I'm so proud of you for not giving up. You are a lovable human and deserve peace & happiness. Thank you for telling your story.

Not every interview is him asking questions, alot of them are just like this where the person just tells the story.. there's probably a reason he chooses to either interview them or let them talk, but theyre both different styles of these videos he does
@@izzydeadyet7336 he said he prefers not to have to ask questions and appreciates when people just talk. Thanks for listening 🩷
Editing is a factor, too. He knows most prefer to hear just the main speaker, so I think he edits some of his questions out occasionally.
Mark has said before he likes the interviews where he don't have to ask any questions at all. He prefers it that way I believe.
@jamiegoodwin58 yes. That's what he told me.
You DO deserve love and you SHOULD write a book, your very good at storytelling.
Thank you for listening ❣️
Would make a compelling movie...
@@karenfryberger4260 it's been my dream. Maybe one day someone will see this and think the same.
Very original
You’re loved by many and we are all pulling for you
I’m so glad you had at least one woman in your life🥺I’m just sobbing hearing about her braiding your hair….
Wow! What a strong person she is. Go girl, you deserve a good life, filled with love.
What a sweet woman, Christina definitely deserves the love and happiness shes searching for
Christina please do not blame
Yourself for your fathers passing alone. You are only human and were dealing with a tremendous amount of childhood wounding. You did what you had to at the time to survive. I pray you find healing because you deserve it. You did nothing wrong. ❤
I appreciate this comment. I am deeply saddened that my dad died alone on his bathroom floor. I have so much guilt.
First time I cried listening to a story on this channel. What of a woman, survivor, mum and a beautiful human. Much love to Christina

Thank you for your kind words and support.
We moved there in the late 80s. What year did you graduate? My sister graduated in 87
I am from Novi.
Thank you for the kind words. They actually made me tear up ❤
She has so much compassion for the people who didn't ever have compassion for her. Bravo Chritina
Thank you for watching ❤️
I was NOT expecting Muskegon, MI to show up in one of these videos. I was born and raised there. Then again, one of the reasons I watch these videos is because I experienced a lot of trauma growing up in rural/small town Michigan and it's cathartic to hear some of these stories, like I can relate to a lot of these people due to my own fucked up life. I'm 38 now, but I left when I was 19 and never went back except when my mom died when I was about 24.
Such a small world and even smaller city. Thanks for watching!
@phorrestnightshade4397, my cousins live in Grand Rapids, MI; they have horror stories, one moved to Arizona 10 yrs ago and vowed to never return.
I started watching this video at work this morning, and with all the times I had to pause, it took me until 4:30. But I could not block away from this video. You were not a bad daughter, sister or mother yet. All of your son to everyone you care about.
Many times
people take advantage of kind hearts like yours. Best wishes!!

This was such a touching story. I love the sound of her voice and I think she should record bedtime or children’s stories! 🥰 thank you for sharing Christina.
Awe really? I've thought about voice-over work actually.
Stay strong
Thank you very much for sharing your life story ❤
I wish you safe travels.
Thank so much! 🩷
Love this “some people get the wrong soil to grow but find enough water to make it”. I’m going to remember this. Thank you. Just wrote it down in my ‘remember’ little black book.
@@GrandmaLM That's nice, thank you.
this beautiful girl WILL be happy one day. you can see she has a heart of gold. her issues are NOT her fault. its the actions of her PARENTS/family who neglected her which has made her believe these lies about her self, her entire life. she WILL BE HAPPY and loved by somebody worth her.
This has to be one of my fav videos from this channel so far! Christina is spectacular! Bravo to her for stating her truth! Also, props to her ability to be such a good "story teller", I was literally glued to my laptop the entire time and could not do anything else until this video was finished.
Thank you so much. I'm flattered. 😊
It was one of my favorite of Mark's videos too!! And I've seen 100+.

Get that book going!! You are such a good story teller. You will accomplish great things!!
This one I could totally relate to, our lives were quite the parallel. We both had one child (a son) @ 19 who saved our lives & despite never being loved unconditionally by our parents, we managed to love our sons unconditionally!
What a story. What a life. But you're still here & will do phenomenal things to come. Thank you for telling your story ❤

This is so tragic. I hope you find loving supportive people who will become your family. You deserve to be loved.
What a brave soul you are, Christina! It takes courage to heal and do the hard work after what you have been through. You have so much light and warmth despite the way you were treated by your family. Be good to yourself.
What a beautiful soul you have Christina. You deserve the best life and I wish you everything you wish for yourself xx

Such an articulate, beautiful lady. I hope you continue to get the support you need. I wish you much happiness in the future
What a sweet soul, I’m so sorry for all you endured. I listen because I can relate. You were amazing!
Thanks for sharing Christina. I wish you the best 💜
Mark… this interview had me DRAWN in. I was all in, every second. You are incredible sister. You really are. Much love, from Norway Mi & Grand Rapids Michigan 🤍
I was smiling, crying and giggling when you giggled. Your energy and aura is everything.
Thank you for sharing your story Christina! You are such a beautiful person inside and out.Sending much light and love your way.🤗❤️
This woman is such a beautiful soul.
Thank you so much! Thanks for listening ❤
