Made my first skateboard in 2017 as a Christmas present for my grandson. Like you I had no idea how thick the board should be so I glued together 3 layers of 1/4” plywood. The board turned out both flexible and strong and should last at least until he is an annoying teenager. Great job. Darlington, South Carolina USA

Nice one. I helped a mate make one. He got the laminated and contoured ply. We had to cut out and shape it, gave it a nice router edge plus obviously the trucks and grip tape. It was a cool project lots of fun

You are such a TH-camr these days. Sizzling content slick cuts amusing voice-overs awesome end products it's all there now. But never should you overlook the power of the camera on the workbench whilst jigsawing juddering clips. Never forget the days when you could go out and about unbothered by fans wanting to know the health of your table saw motor or pestering to know who got the old drill press. The endless mail from the band saw protection league. I predict one day even the IKEA executives will be pleading with you to leave them just some tiny market share...
