I like it this way, it reignites the Scorpion and Sub-Zero rivalry, and it's all the more interesting now with different characters as the personas this time, especially Kuai Liang who is Scorpion now

Hanzo always destined to destroy Bi Han. He may not appear in M1K, but I think he will appear in next Mortal Kombat as Shirai-Ryu Noob Saibot or someone else.
It’s confirmed in Smokes ending that Hanzo is a young warrior taken in by the Shirai Ryu so this time around he’s a student of Smoke and Kuai Liang

From the beginning of Bi-Han's intro before the game had released, I knew he was going to be evil one way or another.
To those that understand this was from the clash intro between Kitana and Bi-Han:

Looking at the army and the stone engraving of Shinnok's amulet on the wall of the main chamber housing the army, it had me thinking; could this Emperor Ying be Onaga the Dragon King in Liu Kang's new era? I know that in Deadly Alliance and Deception, Onaga's army was mummified while this army was stone, but I can't help but think that there is some kind of connection

There's the bi han I remember always an evil bastard obsessed with remaking the lin kuei in his own image and honestly I knew that was coming plus I still think that kuai liang being scorpion doesn't make any sense
Bi-Han was never an evil bastard as Sub-Zero in the original Midway or even NetherRealm Studios timelines until they made him Noob Saibot for no real reason besides making his death at Scorpion's hand justified. They continue demonizing him to make Scorpion more pitiful and because Ed Boon has a massive hate boner for Bi-Han getting his own game where he kicked Scorpion's ass twice (which I'm sure Ed Boon will never forgive).

@@BlueSunStudios1 Bi-Han was not evil but he was callous and ruthless and dedicated to the Lin Kuei. In the original midway timeline, he had experienced the mythologies story line that's why if he had won the mk1 tournament he would have left the Lin Kuei if the ending was to be proved true. In the NetherRealm Studios timeline for some reason he was in the tournament just to assassinate the earthrealm fighters. He either lost to Sonya on purpose, or that was bad writing that he lost cause that Bi-Han also experienced mythologies. This Bi-Han is like the original Bi-Han callous and ruthless and this Bi-Han did not experience mythologies to have a change of heart, he is the cold hearted bastard that he was in the original timeline dedicated to the Lin Kuei before the mythologies storyline.
Well enough as already been said about Bi han so not gonna say anything on that. But regarding Kuai Liang being Original Scorpion now makes sense to me cause Hanzo has proven unworthy as original Scorpio in previous timelines. When Quan chi was finally captured by Spec ops after millions of them sacrificing Hanzo killed me instantly and Raiden wanted Quan chi so that he could reversed the Dark Magic and make Revenants back again to Orginal but nope Hanzo killed him forgoing that chance. If it hadn't been for Kronika mistake we would never have gotten Liu Kang back, Kuai Liang in the absence of Bi Han in the previous timelines have proven to be wise and calm. So him being the new Scorpio makes sense to me now.
