This then turned to rage and an unquenchable thirst for revenge,he had to show everyone HE was worthy, HE had value, HE was someone. He basically turned into a maniacal narcissist, clouded by delusions of grandeur. He is a really realistic character because this is something that happens in real life. People turn vile and evil because of their childhood. Children need to feel loved and supported and if they dont its a risk that they may turn their path towards evil. Its unlikely but they are a dog without a leash and they REQUIRE guidance.

During an intro dialogue against Shao, Bi Han mentions a new apprentice. If she's Frost, it will only be a matter of time before he tastes his own medicine.
General Shao's opening lines vs Bi-Han already hinted that Frost intends to eclipse him and become Grandmaster. Not helping from the Bi-Han ending about the clan's path.
In my eyes Bi han should have remained a good guy. The scenes where he enrertains shang tsungs offer would have been revealed to be a fake out and bi han would have shared a conversation with kui liang about morality and how "the lin kuei may be living in mediocrity but they would never work for a snake like shang tsung". It would have been a nice twist but im not complaining.
@@lentil1337 I disagree, Bi han is still an asshole and titan shang tsung would have told him that Bi han had an Ego in this timeline. It could have worked
It would have been a much more compelling outcome. I certainly would have preferred for Bi-han to become a edgelord in a different manner. Him being extremely tempted by the offer of power, but ultimately sticking to the principles of his clan, would have been a much better scene. He'd still be a piece of shit, from a personality standpoint, but he would be an admirable Grandmaster.
If Bi-Han's focus was less stubborn and more positive into leading the Lin Kuei into a different role, one stronger but not tyrannical, I would've been on board with it. His motivation does make sense; in his eyes, all he wants for his clan is a better future, and in the world of MK, that means more power. However, the con to his mission that spits on everything he does is his sheer lack of respect and decency, so much so that is makes him the most dishonorable member, despite him preaching so much about it. Bi-Han throws his Grandmaster title around with so much pride that it eventually means nothing. He talks down to his own brother and practically hates his adopted one, and of course, he let his own father die. When that secret was revealed, any hope I had for him shed away and I legitimately hated him. I hope in the next game his transformation to Noob Saibot is a gory and painful one.
I felt so disappointed when he turned out to be a jerk in this timeline. I agree that his motivation was not from purely evil intent since all he wants is for the Lin Kei to be respected and gain better recognition for all the services they have done to protect Earthrealm. However, his means to attain recognition and power are bad and his character is deeply flawed but there has to be a trigger in his background story that has led him to the way he is right now. Aside from his nature, there is also the environment that nurtured or pushed him to be this way and I hope that MK would come up a backstory so we can understand his actions better rather than just have him for the sake of him being a one dimensional power hungry character and merely needing a villain. That would deepen and make his lore much more interesting, at least.
@@Anonymous-ix7ms Oh, i know this! At one of their intro match, Johnny somehow, SOMEWAY, knows Bi-Han have familial issue, especially with his father, meaning he possibly got the 'Perfect Older Brother™' treatment, and as he grew older it's probably making him arrogant as he's now obliged to make the whole clan to be at his standard as a grandmaster, one that his dad 'failed' to achieve. It's probably worse when judging from how Bi-Han treated Tomas, his father treated Smoke and (probably?) Kuai Liang better than him. At least yes, his motivation is not derived from his mind warped by Quan Chi's dark magic (Yet, i guess-) and rather wanting to make the Lin Kuei better to rally in his standard and not just be a sitting vulture, but his way is what makes it interesting because he's more than willing to traffic with dark sorcery and NOW CYBERIZATION AGAIN that at least doesn't involve them getting dissected, just for others to see that the Lin Kuei can be so much more. Maybe it can derail way too far since Bi-Han's still easily convinced by promise of powers, but i still put hope Kuai Liang and Smoke can convince their big bro's ass back without having to cook him alive into a well done steak-

During an intro dialogue against Shao, Bi Han mentions a new apprentice. If she's Frost, it will only be a matter of time before he tastes his own medicine.
Wym
General Shao's opening lines vs Bi-Han already hinted that Frost intends to eclipse him and become Grandmaster.
Not helping from the Bi-Han ending about the clan's path.
I think, looking back on this, it means Cyrax
18:14 - In russian revoiceacting, Sub-Zero said this: "Am I a cuckold for you, Scorpio?! how could you cheat on me with this air?!"
Sub-Zero: End this, Brother! Embrace the future.
Scorpion: You literally almost took my eye out just a second ago. Go hug a land mine!
Scorpion was whipping ass with that chain GGGAAAWWWDDDD DDAAAMMNN!
i love how scorpion is more chill than sub zero even tho sub zero is supposed to be chill
2:30
Smoke : hehehe
Skorpion : well thats just not fair
In my eyes Bi han should have remained a good guy. The scenes where he enrertains shang tsungs offer would have been revealed to be a fake out and bi han would have shared a conversation with kui liang about morality and how "the lin kuei may be living in mediocrity but they would never work for a snake like shang tsung". It would have been a nice twist but im not complaining.
if shang tsung knew that bi han didnt want to be serving liu kang, he would know it would be a fake out
@@lentil1337 I disagree, Bi han is still an asshole and titan shang tsung would have told him that Bi han had an Ego in this timeline.
@@Maykr-official Shang Tsung didn't predict, that Mileena faked out her change of heart xd.
That’s also what I thought would happen 😂, double agent or something
Such amazing voice acting performances! And then Nitara arrives... 😬
I love the touch on the scar, some things just stay the same
Why does Scorpion voice actor sound like the Ghost of Tsushima actor lol?
Same VA
“Everybody says I sound like Jin Sakai…..Probably because I am Jin Sakai”
And Smoke sounds suspiciously like Spider-Man
@@zsu-23-4shilka2He's Sasuke's Eng Dub Voice Actor
Baraka, Reptile, and Mileena turn good while Sub Zero (Bi Han) goes bad. I'd say that's a fair trade.
Bi Han was always bad.
Wasn’t Bi-Han always a dick?
Hes brother Good. Bi Han will be Noob Saibot
@inGameweTrust1986 There's a leak of a second Kombat pack. Noob is among them. Chances are that someone else will take the name. Someone new.
@@UnrealNeoBatweird considering the First Pack isnt out yet
Damn…Scorpion and Smoke are like
Seriously…Sub-Zero? Your heart is changing God damnit 😂
9:45 my oh my has the bastard come a long way.
Idgaf what anyone says, Kuai Liang as this timeline’s Scorpion was such a good choice.
Nah not really
Kual might get rageful and become a specter like hanzo
Bi han is awesome in this time line stayed true to his original self, cold and Ruthless no matter what. Ed boon did a brilliant job
Dang man. I really thought bi-han would be good for once 😢
It really goes to show you, once a Noob Saibot always a Noob Saibot.
Me too
Ed Boon already said that no matter which timeline, Bi-Han will always end up evil...
@@ShaneDouglas713It's nature vs. nurture.
@@caelusprime5278 Pretty much
If Bi-Han's focus was less stubborn and more positive into leading the Lin Kuei into a different role, one stronger but not tyrannical, I would've been on board with it.
Maybe it can derail way too far since Bi-Han's still easily convinced by promise of powers, but i still put hope Kuai Liang and Smoke can convince their big bro's ass back without having to cook him alive into a well done steak-
I hope noob saibot is completely different character in general i really dont like the subzero boob link never have.
1 year into the future here, Sub-Zero became Noob Saibot and it was very painful as he was imbued with Khaos after dying
The OG Sub Zero and Scorpion felt like a forced rivarly.
This new one felt more personal and authentic. Much better. Especially how Kuia Liang got his scar from his brother.
How is someone getting revenge on their brother's killer forced?
He means it’s just feel good for them to have a new reason to have a rivalry then the one we been getting for years
Avenging your family is not forced my friend
@@UFunnyLowe yeah but later it was Quan CHI doing so it make the Rivaly a waste of time.
@@AySorryIfMyGrammarIsBad cause Quan CHI is one behind the killing.
Okay, I laughed at 16:55. i eas not expecting a test your might pop up mid fight
Love this. I love the characters that turned face but of course we shouldn't make everybody into a heroic character.
Poor Father of Kuai Liang and Bi Han.
Yeah. I cannot that hypocrite Bi-Han letting his father die and lie his own brother Kuai Liang.
@@johnsantos507 It's crazy
@@city.592 Crazy and wrong. Bi-Han is so stupid.
Then I guess we know who the *new* Noob Saibot is going to be
2:30 Thomas takes the elevator while scorpion and subzero take the stairs😂
12:50 bi Han is to stupid to see his role, Shang tsune literally says the statues are powered by souls, hey bi Han as surprising as it may seem you have a soul in other words you and your clan will be a power source
Imagine if after Bi Han shackles was released, he beat Sang Tsung's asses instead. 😂
Whoever is the voice actors for all characters are amazing 😮😮😮😮. The storyline is wonderful 💯💯💯
Whoever wrote the storyline and chose the people to voice act the characters did an amazing job!!!
Jesus how hard they nerfed Scorpion.. Remember this guy in MK9 when he was driven by revenge... Nobody could stand in his way
The title is wrong. It should have said:
“How the Grandmaster wanted the best for his clan, but was betrayed by his brother and fatherless person.”
Its a shame that Bi-Han was originally working on his good behaviour through his achievements before scorpion barbecued him
9:00 completely kick the bad guys ass, lose to the lackies. That kinda stuff always baffles me. I get there is powers in numbers, but...
I love how rain makes a plan to kill scorpion here, throwing waterball to his back
The dragon king's army killed major Kombatants in Deadly Alliance, they've been nerfed.

The perfect 3rd person angle for a MK Mythology Remake. The first God Of War lol.

Bi-Han/Sub-Zero : go on ……
I’m listening
WAIT WAIT WAITTTTTT WHY HIS VOICE SO DEEP AS HELL😭
This and the stuff with lu kang and shang tsug are the highlight of the game for me looking forward to seeing where the dlc goes
The only thing I kinda like about Kuai Liang being Scorpion is that Hanzo Hasashi must've been living in peace with his clan and family.
Love how Scorpion has become over the years, the good guy next to Sub Zero who has become the villain.
Raiden, Where Are You?
They may share blood...they will never be brothers.
Can’t wait for Bi Han to become Noob Saibot, if he does in this new universe but he really needs to take something for his throat to clear it up😅
Noob Saibot didn't have a clear voice either.
Bihan actually right about Former Grandmaster Linkuei he was obsessed with mediocrity which is meaningless in this chaos environment

More like how NRS betrayed Sub Zero. He has gaps in all his strings, his ice clone and ice ball dont really confer any advantage, his damage output is about 15% less than anyone else and some of his combos function differently depending on if you are P1 or P2.
This game needs a patch asap.
This is a Sub zero I can respect a man not taking crap off of anybody and do whatever it takes to get the job done and no more going along and getting along that's how make it to the top I'm not going to pay $109 or something only about a bunch of fools would do but when the price drops he's definitely in the top 10

13:27 im Sorry for Scorpion
Bi Han when alone: I'm Batman
I just love mortal kombat!
14:03 damn, now Kuai liang is pissed off.
How did Liu kang not realize Bi-Han let his father die?
I don’t mind Bi-Han being evil (he’s my favorite character) I just wish they made him a bit more likeable to others before he turned
I saw that happened.
First : Kuai Liang is NOT joining The Lin Kuei, Or Betrayed.
Second : Harumi helps Liang to get rid of Lin Kuei.
Third : Tomas and Liang JOINED The Shirai Ryu.
and Last : Kuai Liang wants to get rid of Lin Kuei and Bi-Han also Harumi gets MAD at him for killing Hanzo Hasashi.
Don't yall think kuai Liang resembles kazuya from tekken
Why is Bi-Han so cartoonishly evil?
I feel like Bi-Han is very well written, and actually wasn't betraying the Lin Kuai. I think the actual villian is Liu Kang, which would make him an anti villian. The Lin Kuai are just servants to him who he only calls on when needed, along with demanding the respect of Outworld. He's also pretty much allowing history to repeat itself. So yeah, Bi-Han is a villian but only to Liu Kang who I think is a villain. And he's not good at protecting the realm. He doesn't force order enough, and he's not great at planning.
You would rather he turn out like Dark Raiden?
@@JDog2656 Not what I said, just saying this Liu Kang is an absolute idiot
I am curious though... are they identical twins (sub-zero and scorpion)? or they just looked similar for being brothers?
