In the future always go to court, you have to protect your license, it’s your bread and butter. Last time I got one the judge changed it to a coasting ticket and cut the fine in half because I had a clean license. No points on my license and just a little inconvenient to make the court date , but worth it in the end. Stay safe Driver.

Dude I got a ticket in the same spot 2 years ago, was his name Alsop? He got me for doing I think 58 in that 35. I don't run out there anymore, I had a clean record for 13 years then that. Good luck out there man!

I studied on my own and took the test myself but I think it’s now a requirement to get your CDL threw a two week class!

@@Torsee it’s where you check over your rig and trailer before each day to make sure it is safe for travel😁
@@NickWeber112 As a retired heavy duty mechanic it only takes but a few minutes to check it out. Could be just a steering box adjustment or dangerous bad tie rod ends and or steering components. Better safe than sorry. This is something you can do easy at home with the help of a second pair of hands. Good luck

There is an app called “ Off The Record” lawyers will fight so that your ticket will be reduced and you won’t have a speeding ticket on your mvr which will cause high insurance.

I had a couple speeding tickets that lawyers lowered down to a loitering or failing to obey traffic laws but speeding tickets just look bad on the record

Shoot thanks man!🙏 but I don’t own all of that extra stuff! Just some friends and family stuff😁 There is money to be made that’s forsure but to answer your question I have lived on the road ever since I got out of high school and just been working as much as I can. Trucking is not for everyone, a lot of people have kids and whatnot to where they can’t just up and leave for a couple weeks at a time so I think that has part to do with why some people choose not to become a trucker! Plus with a lot of these new regulations it’s making it more and more difficult for us truckers to do our jobs so that turns a few guys away also😅
