+Blarghalt Agreed. I just wish that the final boss was more challenging; this and the Emperor were rather anticlimactic after the epic battles of Cerberus Alpha, Sasquatch Beta, and Phoenix Gamma…though I'll admit that the second one left quite a bit to be desired as well.
@@ReturnOfSilence 5 years later but I only half-agree, while it is a certainty that the battle itself is rather bland and simple, the *concept* of it is incredible, I can't emphasize this enough, but I love me some intense battle to end all grudges, think about Naruto vs Sasuke. This last scuffle is the perfect conclusion for these characters, and for the story.
The first time i played it really threw me out of place but as i continued playing it and got the hang of it, it easily became one of my favorites for n64. On another note Square enix should remaster/port it or nintendo release it gor n64 online
Can we take a moment to appreciate HOW GOD DAMN POWERFUL MARINA IS? She’s throwing around that dollar store gundam like my dog does his favorite toy, and on the Japanese box art she’s holding up the entire games cast (and one block that’s as tall as she is) with one arm, O N E A R M!
+megaburritozero Thats right "shake shake". Listen if you really want Marina to come into a new generation games, have you heard about "Super Smash Bros"?
+megaburritozero Okay, good enough. For were trying to get lots and enough votes for Marina. For recently, SSB just added another character thats a none nintendo one. For maybe lots of fans voted for that slayer guy. The slayer guy is Cloud Strife from "Final Fantasy".
It took me forever to figure out exactly what their opening statements were, and I finally found the quotes: Lunar: Through fire, justice is served! Heeeeeere's Lunar! Taurus: To punish evil forces, I have been charged! It's Taurus time! Merco: A hero with shining armor is called. I'm Merco.
@slashmaster28 -- It seems obvious now that you've laid it all out in black and white... but when I was younger I could only hear the following: "Group Fire! Justice is served!" "A hero is shining a waycall(?)!" "To punish evil forces, I am in charge!" ... Close enough - if you're asking me. ;-D
@@SpiritboundNeo back when i played it in 97 with my cousin we thought they said - Mmmmmmm Fire!!!! Justice is Served -A hero returning a call -For punishing evil forces I've been charged
FINALLY! Somebody who at least knows the meaning of precision beat down! Most players who made these final boss videos of this absolute favourite classic game of mine don't (without spamming the buttons rapidly) really get the C down, C down, C down, and toss over method due to the nature and constant frustrations over this final boss!
I still have this game. I'm 14 now....but back when I was nine, I remember getting to this stage and screaming, "MEGAZORD RIPOFF!!!" XD But yeah, I still play this game every so often. It's a real easy game to play, but a fun one :D
Great game. I love how the Beastectors thought that they were the good guys. This just proves that you don't need weapons to kick ass. All you need is 'shake, shake'.
How many other games, or even movies for that matter, end with the final battle being against the goofy henchmen as the 'big bad behind it all' was already dispatched of just prior to that? Kind of strange and anticlimactic, no?
5 years late but I love it, it's so cool that the ultimate battle is a friendly bout between the now group of pals. It fits perfectly with the light-hearted nature of the game. In a way, it is like the final battle in Naruto being between the two og rivals, though way less serious for obvious reasons.
u would think after the frist attampt to slam them with your foot will fail would be a good leason not to do it again during the battle : / apparently no
It's so hard to tell what Merco is saying at the start. The guy who delivered that line really borked it up and I don't get why they didn't try to get him to do it better. I mean I only figured it out thanks to the other comments.
Mischief Makers is a game that's distilled insanity from the get-go and never apologizes for it, and i wouldn't have it any other way.

Through fire Justice is served!! This game is legendary
Great words.
one of the best unknown lines in gaming history.

You will never convince me that Taurus isn't screaming YOU SUCK! when they launch the fist.
Now I cant unhear that.
I honestly always thought that's what he was saying. What is he actually saying?
I miss this game :(
This needs to be brought to the Nintendo Eshop
Uli Gecko :Agreed Nintendo better get on that!!!
They were so hard to beat as a kid. One of THE best games ever made!
Buster:Through Fire justice is served!
Plucky:a hero with shinning armor is called!
Hampton:To punish evil forces i have been charged!
It is nuts how hard this game would go with action given the hardware limitations.
They really knew how to make things cool.
My first N64 game!!! Great game and amazing soundtrack!
i just love how Marina slams that giant robot like its a rag doll XD
