Very clear and interesting video! These kinds of blinds are so expensive to buy. What a great cost-saving alternative that is also fun to do. Glad that Rockler helps us through the process.
The preset drill bits, in my kit, needed to be reset to accommodate for the depth of the drilling jig. Also, the instructions didn't include information on the hidden arm option. Other than those problems the build is going well so far.
Hi Patrick, unfortunately we aren't sure as Andy Glass from Glass Impressions is the one who made this video. Feel free to check out his channel at th-cam.com/users/Pbmaster11
Interesting comment. Are you saying that cost of the equipment investment plus materials is not economic for one shutter? Or that that the material costs (even after you're given the tools as a gift) just don't make it worth it? Because in my area these nice blinds are about $1000 per normal medium window.

Very informative...Would you please tell what different kind of rabbets you used? Thanks.
Must be nice to have all those jigs, I can see how they make it very easy for you
Hi, thanks for the video. Which brand of self-centering bits are you using? They look good.
Hi Ahmed, you can find our self-centering bits here www.rockler.com/shop?w=self+centering+bit&oq=selfcentering+bit&queryAssumption=correction

What kind of drill attachment is that?
Unfortunately, as this video was not created by Rockler, we aren't sure. We recommend checking Andy Glass's channel: th-cam.com/users/Pbmaster11
What is the total cost for the one window with Jigs and supplied items? Thanks

The proper way to to do the rails and stiles would be the same as a raised panel door.
and have a dado going up the side of the stiles where the louvers need to go? Doesn't make sense.
Let me go check their coats
Looks like about 15 square feet.
It's not much cheaper than if I buy shutters.
