Pawn Inclination Elixirs: where to buy, how to use, and how to check inclinations. Additionally, overuse of the pawn command buttons may unintentionally change inclinations; use commands SPARINGLY, if at all!!
Warning: there's a known random glitch that may occur upon resting after your pawn returns from other Arisen's Worlds--you may find that your pawn's inclinations have changed. However, no one--other than yourself--can purposely change these inclinations. Pawns can only learn area, bestiary, and quest knowledge while traveling with other Arisen.

Cool. A pawn video. Very nice. This is similiar to how I do it. I do 5,4,3 though, but actually I also like letting them decide on their own. I will typically have a the same color as my Arisen, so Strider or Ranger if I am yellow or Fighter if I am red (Warrior pawns are terrible) and so on. They usually end up ok for me. Augments to fine tune their role and yeah NEVER use pawn commands. Probably the most conflicting thing for poor little pawns. I hope this can turn into a pawn series for you.

I just downed 5 mitigator elixirs. Why does it change back to scather ?
@traveller89 I don’t have the context to correctly answer that question. If you are using the 9-7-5-3 method, then after the first three potions (whatever you used) that immediately pushes that inclination to the top at 1000.000000, if the second set of elixirs you used were 5 Mitigator ones, that should put that inclination at the top at 1000.000000. Anything you use thereafter, pushes THAT to the top. However, the numerical separation between using potions like this 5 -5 - 5 -5 is different.

Wow super informative video I couldn’t understand why my warrior would be gathering rather than fighting alongside me. This game is so deep and doesn’t explain a lot to the player or I miss a lot lol.

Good clip 👍 thanks for that but what is the difference of drink potions 9753 and like 3333. What happens when you drink your version of inclination change?
Why it's not enough to drink one potion of each one in reverse order?
Drinking one potion in reverse order does work but doesn’t ‘hold’ for long. It’s a numbers game. 1000.000000 is the highest (first inclination) and 0.000000 would be the final (ideally). When I use 9 7 5 3 then the first inclination gets set at 1000.0000, the second at 950.00000, the third at ~ 800.000 and the fourth at 650.00. All the rest will fall below 500. The order of those might be different for every pawn depending on their owner’s gameplay, use of potions, etc.
TBH I haven’t tested just using one of each. The reason for that is I don’t want to spend each half hour of real game play time to fix my pawns’ inclinations. Enemies, other pawns, and the player’s actions (even if you don’t use commands) affect your pawn’s inclinations causing the values to shift to the midpoint and others to rise above it. Ideally if you hired pawns with exact same inclinations (in all spots) then this might not be a worry; but since you can’t ‘see’ the other pawns’ inclinations (all of them), then you’re going to be stuck wondering why your pawn keeps changing its inclinations after a few battles.

So the effected of other Pawns have so much weight in this game that they change my Pawns inclination. And by drinking your potionstyle "9753" you getting sure to have your favorite inclination a big time on Top of the list.
I guess it will take a long time to get the first three inclantations lost by crappie Pawns 😁👍.
Do you got advice for me to choose good Pawns?
Like I finde out for me now is that when I look for abilitys in compare with inclantations and stars I can get pretty sure to get some good pawn, there are still crappie ones within but I think my is too a bit cause she stands around sometimes looking what others do. I will try out what you sad but do you got any advice for pawn choosing?
@@bigview If your pawn is ‘standing around’ sounds like she’s either Guardian or Nexus as primary inclination. Since I don’t know your pawn’s vocation I can’t advise about that except to say change inclinations as soon as you can! Guardian pawns protect the Arisen and so do nothing until the Arisen is directly attacked; Nexus pawns protect the other pawns, thus doing nothing unless those pawns are attacked. In both cases, those types of pawns are ineffectual. Worthless.
As for choosing good pawns I’ll say this: sorcerer/mage pawns should never have scather as first/second/third/fourth. Mages/sorcs do best as utilitarian/challenger. Other pawns such as fighters/warriors/striders can have scather in first/second positions, but again the set ups for those can also be tweaked. Both my striders are challenger/scather; my fighter is mitigator/scather. Ranger pawns should be challenger/utilitarian, but I have seen pioneer/utilitarian. (I tend not to use pioneer pawns, doesn’t suit my playstyle).
@@Gemmalady Yes in deed it is guard and aggressiv what stands for the first 2 inclantations of my pawn I didn't mind in that Live chaos I had this time. I think the point of having my Pawn doing this is that I used to much guardians at beginning of game cause I thought it would be good to get guarded yea 🤣 for real worthless.
My Pawn have no specific way of vacation cause I go for every vacation. For me minus healervacation and my Pawn that does every single vacation up to the end. Nearly every Levelup goes with an vacation upgrade hand in hand, I plan to be an Assassin or Magical Knight with 30 more lvls done at Endgame and my Pawn should become with magical Bow, Knight or Warrior at the end, I'm only quite a bit not sure what I want her to be last but not least. But the thing I definatly like to be with her at Endgame is balanced Chars. Now I wait to get the last 3 vacations and then I plan to take some drinks to get me sorted with my Pawn for what she will be than.
The point why I did not do vacation drinking already is that I've got no Friendchippawns on my account so I deal with what I find and get in that case. The fact that I never saw my Pawn be used by anybody makes me think that it doesn't matter as long I rock by my own. And the fact, i think too, that this game is simple not played a lot by people anymore.
I played this game years befor on Xbox360 and did never do playtrough cause of time. Since I had a PlayStation4 this fact never let me be, I did mind some time cause good game didn't check to the End. Now I go again for dark arisen and I'm at the point where I finished the first 4 missions of Maximilian and jeees this game makes me happy some times 😁 so much to do and to know, fantastic.

@@bigview I understood what you were writing so no worries there. Actually there has been an upsurge of players on the PS4 since March, it could be the fact that your pawn had Guardian as to why it didn’t get hired. Guardian/nexus pawns are considered the least desirable to hire. As for creating a sort of hybrid pawn, well they can only be Striders, Rangers, Fighters, Warriors, Mages, or Sorcerers. They can not be any of the hybrid vocations such as Magic Archer or Mystic Knight. For one thing they can’t use spell bows nor can they use any of the Mystic Knight’s weapons. Secondly, even if you were to give them the two magical attack augments (Acuity and Attunement) they can’t use it with enchanted weapons to increase their magical attack as it doesn’t work that way (only mage and sorcerer pawns can use that stat, because they are the only ones who can cast spells). The Magic Archer’s spellbow casts spells and the Mystic Knight has certain attacks that are considered spells (even when using their mace/shield). People have learned a lot about what makes a good pawn since those early days-now you see a lot more pawns that are either high in Magic (mages and sorcs), high in strength (striders, fighters, warriors), or a mix of good strength and high stamina (fighters and rangers). Concentrate on what you want your pawn to be now, that way they learn their craft well and serve you even better. I’m glad you’re still enjoying the game! 🥰
How do you converse with other pawns or can you? When I sit in the chair I only can talk to my main.

I’ve got a mage pawn on PS4 and she’s got 100% bestiary knowledge. Thus I set her up as Utilitarian/Challenger/Mitigator/Medicant

Once your mage has mostly 3 stars you can set her to Utilitarian/Challenger/Mitigator/Medicant. If not, then Challenger/Utilitarian/Mitigator/Medicant. By virtue of your mages skills (Anodyne and/or Halidom) she/he will heal you regardless. But you don’t want them stopping in the middle of buffing you or casting an attack to do that. Hence, Medicant in the 4th spot.

Actually, once you understand some of the pawn AI, then using the potions is an integral part of the game. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks.
