I have crafted almost every single recipe in the game, I dont know exactly why but I really love alchemy in this game, even if the mechanics are really simple other than the massive amount of recipes and items you can craft which are extremely powerful tbh. I even do trips to distant places just to gather ingredients. this video is really useful for aspiring alchemist exploring the wonderful world of consumable items. ty
My go to healing item is to combine Cloud Wine and Potent Greenwarish to make Maturated Greenwarish. Nuts, Harspud Milk, and Potent Greenwarish can all be bought in bulk from common vendors for cheap. I have hundreds of the stuff.
I hope they implement the crafting menu from Monster Hunter (World) in DD2. It makes things so much more convenient looking up the target items and then seeing if you have the materials to craft them instead of the other way around and fumbling around with ingredients hoping you can craft something useful. And the item tooltips need to have much more detail. No idea how long these buffs lasted. It could be 20 seconds, or as I'm surprised to hear here 4 hours!
Except for skeleton keys, I think I almost never make any combinations items, most of the time I just go to early BBI and gather Harspuds and Kingwarishes or have an herb ale from Selene. This is going to help me for pure vanilla playthroughs
It took me about 6 playthroughs to finally stop and look at the combined button and the recipe section it's not really necessary to beat the game obviously since I did it so many times but damn it really makes the game a lot more fun

Ironically enough they can also be used as upgrading material for the prisoners rags set and for the chaos gauntlets.

I find the Ambrosial meat and liquid vim recipes quite useful.
