I never once thought to myself, "I bet Arkansas is a beautiful place!", until I started watching your channel. Now all I talk about is how beautiful it is there.
That was awesome! Since you are influencers, maybe talk about throw ropes and how they are good to have. We had a friend get in a situation once. Good thing they had the throw ropes and some strong people. All was ok. Rivers can throw you some surprises. Another time someone went left when they should have gone right and followed me. That was crazy. All was ok. I really love how you talk about nature and describe it so eloquently Cody. Jonathan did great! Whoo hoo! Oh yes, it was really good editing. I'm always learning. You do interesting things with the transitions and picking good music to enhance the mood. Loved the music when you were going through the rapids..
Cody my man,so good to see u and Jonathan enjoying the good clean life.hate that miss Kelly had a bad experience 😞hope to see her in the next vid.much love to u guys, stay safe.a friend from South Korea
Great video. Thanks for the bonus this week. Looked at my GAIA map, looks like there is some navigating to get down that stream. Nice job showcasing another overlooked natural treasure in Arkansas.
Boys trips are good sometimes! Hey there! Cookie and I are kicking off our first weekend in the woods with a night pack out during your vid tonight! Trying to decide on food! Thinking lamb chops on the grille!
This is my kind of kayaking. Reminds me of the Dan River here in NC. Very nice rapids and wave trains and you guys handled them like a boss. Awesome camp sites yall found as well.
Amazing kayaking vlog, guys! You’re definitely doing professional videography with great editing of footage from the drone and other devices. Perfect music added in the right places, too! Also, glad you didn’t lose your drone to the river (it did make for a suspenseful scene, though!). Thank you for taking us along and showing us this beautiful river (and the great riverside camping spots!).
Best kept secret in Arkansas is the South Fourche Lafavre River in beautiful Winona WMA in Perry County. Need to holler next time your in my back yard literally guys lol.
We are planning a camping trip there. Thanks for the info on locations for camping. We love dark sky and bright stars. BTW that drone was not minding you at all. Lol great videos. You guys are doing fabulous job with these. We've been watching a while and these are great quality.
QUESTION DID YOU MARK ON YOUR PHONE THE CAMPSITES YOU STOPPED AT WHILE KAYAKING DOWN RIVER TO FIND THEM LATER 🤔 ? LOVED THE WAY THE WATER 💧 LOOKED FROM THE DIFFERENT STREAMS / RIVERS . GORGEOUS WEATHER SCENERY COLORS VIEWS BEAUTY LANDSCAPE & AWESOME DRONE FOOTAGE TOO ! GOOD CATCH WITH THE DRONE . BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! GOD BLESS YOU ALL 🙏 ALWAYS ON YOUR JOURNEYS ! TELL KELLEY I SAID HI 👋 & SHE WAS MISSED ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨
I was thinking on one cause I have little ones and I've seen them things on vids and spring river up at hardy go threw some nasty stuff and still hold up
The South Fourche La Fave (pronounced "Fay") is a valley stream running through farmland, pasture, and clear-cuts until it gets to a few ridges it needs to cross to reach the main Fourche. Thus the somewhat muddy water.
Fourche is pronounced like Push but with an F instead of a P. And LaFave is pronounced as it is spelled, with the V sound. That's the local pronunciation - and our family has been here for 5 generations.
Nice video, my friend! Great Riverside camp! Enjoyed watching, your bushcraft skills are good! And the surrounding nature is cool and amazing. Cheers from Russia, guys, and welcome to my channel about special Russian bushcraft tips and hacks! Kind regards, Yuriy!
😂 lol no retakes. I have been on that river for many years now and got the ole name down. If it seemed that I was talking fast, Jonathan and I were running behind. Had got behind doing a oil change and break job on the H3. Had issues with installing the breaks that took an hour and a half off our arrival time at the river.
@@CodyandKellie, know what you mean. The gear always finds a way to delay. Keep up the great content and drone footage. My disability keeps me from jumping in a kayak and go down the river. My drone flights and your footage take me to the places I can't. Preciate ya!
We do agree that the Buffalo River is beautiful. We used to spend a lot of time up there when we first started camping. We don’t spend too much time up there now days. But we do plan to do a hike in the area soon. Just might not float it this year.
@@CodyandKellie I actually prefer to see some of our less popular rivers showcased. I'm pretty well "full" of all things Buffalo which literally has entire websites devoted solely to its marvelous works and wonders. With 90,000 miles of rivers and streams in the state we should focus on more than just the 153 miles that comprise the Buffalo.

Me too 😊.

Guys trip!! Looked like fun. I think Jonathon was thinking “quit talking and let’s go!”
That was awesome!

Cody have you ever thought bout a river raft for those kind of trips ,plus you could carry all your camping gear!
No sir. Not for short day floats. But if we were to camp on this river that would be a great idea!
I was thinking on one cause I have little ones and I've seen them things on vids and spring river up at hardy go threw some nasty stuff and still hold up
Great! My fav video of your channel! I loved all the helpful info like the best water level to run. But where did get out of the river?
We took out at Deberrie
NICE, but how do you guys go back?
We shuttled. One of us parks at the put in and the other at the take out.
Great video! Bout how long did it take you from start to finish?
Thanks! 4 hours

NEVER THE SAME WITHOUT KELLY, jonathan need to shave, god bless always 👍👍👍
I bet the last thing she said before you left, "Take care of my little brother and do NOT lose the drone!"lol How many drones have you lost so far?
Just the one we have now but we found it the next morning
That was totally worth ditching Kelly for. Cant blame ya. Haha!

Where did you launch and pickup at?
What type of kayaks did you use?
Perception pescadore
How many times did it take for the intro?
Great footage! Thanks!
Thank you for your kind words! On the intro what part are you talking about? The drone shots?
@@CodyandKellie, the river tongue twister name with the drone coming in. Also the river footage. You put us in the kayak! 👀 👏🤙
