I was cheated so many times in the beginning as you said. One more thing you can include, if you give 500 and ask petrol for 100. After completion they go for other person meaning that you gave only 100. If you are not sure about your money what you gave, they easily tell that you have given 100 only. They also show a 100 rupees note from their money bag. This is my experience. But nowadays I learn to overcome these frad. You are 100,,% correct. Thanks for your information

In olden days, to avoid exact change/balance payment, we opted for round figures such as - 100, 300, 2000 etc. Since we are using debit/card these days, we can ask for a strange amount like - Rs.258, Rs.146 etc. or we can demand them to fill for 4.35 liters or 2.85 liters etc.

For Example : 1litre / 2litre
( Keep change while putting like this, Use Paytm)

You can identify trusted bunks in your place easily. But how can you find when you travel to new places? In that situation look forward and fill petrol mostly in LOA bunks (Lorry Owners Association bunks, that are available mostly on the major highways of Tamilnadu) or petrol bunks directly managed by Oil companies (you can see notification in front of the bunk that it is run by Oil Company). Because they are non profit bunks so that chance to get cheated would be less. I say from my personal experience.
Better fill the fuel in litre measurement and pay with cards. No issue of repeated value problem and presetted duplicate calibration issue. Also, we will received some low value amount return back from petrol pump for purchasing thru card. While paying, don't allow that employee to type a round off value in card machine. Ask them to enter a exact amount.

Fraud 2 happened twice in 2 different petrol stations in Delhi. I always fill my tank when I fill petrol. Once my bike came to reserve with 5 litres petrol. Within 100 metres, I reached a petrol station to full the tank, my tank capacity is 16 litres. So it will be around 11 litres petrol required to full my tank. The guy filled petrol for 200 and stopped. I asked him to fill the tank again. He said sorry and started continuing filling without resetting. Tank got filled around 11 litres but he asked for 11 litres + 200 extra. Second time same happened in different petrol station. Both the time I didn't paid any single rupee and left the petrol station. They said they will complain in police and get me. I am waiting for police from last one year but no one came till now 😂😂😂

One more suggestion its better to keep the cash ready before filling petrol, because they distract your observation by asking you money you will open purse and search money count and do something like searching your card and forget noting the petrol reading.

Very nice info video bro. Nowadays in nitrogen filling also they are cheating. They were stopping the filling before the beep sound. Beep sound sends count to the computer. But they were ignoring that. For example a tire needs 30. Now that person entering 35. He begin to inflate. Now he stops manually at 30. In this case they avoid beep sound and receiving money.
