Spectacular Ducks Swim Rapids in Yellowstone National Park

Harlequin ducks swim LeHardy Rapids in Yellowstone National Park. This section of the Yellowstone river slopes downward and has large boulders spread across it creating the rapid like conditions. This a prime spot to capture Harlequin ducks in Yellowstone. It was incredible to watch the ducks strength as they swam against the rushing water. They seemed to not be phased at all by the rapids and would perch on water slick rocks to take a break from diving under the water.
We don't know much about what these ducks were doing, our guess was they liked what they could find to eat in the water. Leave a comment down below if you know what they were fishing for.
