Great tour buddy, literally a full detailed walk through of everything onboard, done this trip many times before and will do many more 😉can't beat it really, love the Dam, anyway awesome job again... well done
I have done it the other way around (IJmuiden-New Castle-IJmuiden) about 4 times. I think it’s a fun little getaway for not much money. I really enjoyed it.
@nbuttermouth1071 you're literally there for 4.5 hours, so not much time to do a lot, we basically walked to Anne Frank house, did that (which was so interesting) and then had a look in some shops and admires the architecture along the canals, before heading back to the bus , stopping at mcdonalds for lunch on the way.. we said the next time we go we won't book anything to do, we just want to walk around leisurely and see what we see 😁
Wonder why they choose not to have tv's in the room? I only did Stenaline x50 times to/from Holland and taking the DfDS first time next month (hence why im watching this, thanks for all info!) and it's first thing i notice.
You are not allowed to buy alcohol and take it back to your cabin, they will let you collect before you depart the ship, also your not allowed to take alcohol on board
@maddog7139 ah OK, i mean how would they know? We took all kinds of food and side drinks and wasn't checked once so could have been anything, I get they can stop you taking duty free alcohol to your cabin but taking your own in wouldn't be hard

@yumpjeb9089 it's amazing value, wouldn't get 2 nights in a travelodge for what we paid 😉
Any tips for what to squeeze in those few hours in Dam? Have 4 kids to do a whistle stop tour in dec!

@NVT-j8y my pleasure 😁thank you for taking time to comment 😀
Do the eu plugs come in the room or do you need to bring the adapter to change to uk plug?
@Mrloki2717 we took our own, you can buy them in duty free on board but it would be better to bring your own 😁

How did you get it so cheap? Planning to take the fam but cant find a reasonable price
@Mazzle-Frazzle we used a holidaypirates link and booked the discounted days in the calendar from there, think the discount was around £300 at least 😁
@@TheDandylion5 cool thanks!
@Mazzle-Frazzle no problems , hope you get to go 😁
