@neubeat3198 It really is great. Did you see they just released the 1.30 firmware a few days ago? Ecuador huh, so cool. I've never been to South America. Would love to visit sometime it looks stunning.
man your jams are incredible... really nice and some of the best I have seen with this setup! quick question... you mention in one of the comments you run the moog into the 707... then how are you only looping the bass sounds and not the drums? from what I can see you are not looping the drums at all? I have a similar setup except a tr8s and getting the correct routing is tricky so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Hi, thank you for your comment! I pass the Moog through the 505, not the 707 (I corrected that mistake below the comment you read). It's better to keep them separate because there's no need to pass the audio of the drum machine through the 505, only with a MIDI cable they are synchronized.
I just got a BOSS 505 AND A ROLAND 707. I also have an UltraNova Synth and Behringer Xenyx Mixer .. I have the TASCAM 32sd recording station. How Do I connect everything to record to the tascam for live play?
Hi! Thanks!! I bought the mc 707 about 3 weeks ago and still haven't explored it well. But something that I could see is that it does not have much variety of delays or reverbs. But it does have a lot of good instrument libreries
Neu Beat, I love this, really lovely. I've just bought a 505 and have started enjoying making music again agyer 20 years away. Can I ask, what sound are you using to make your 'white noise' risers? I've been trying to emulate that and can't find anything! Thanks for uploading.
@@neubeat3198 Thanks so much for replying. I'll have a look at some sounds I have in Kontakt. I never thought of the HP filter, thank you. It looks like you're managing to have the beat repeat on just your vocal notes (2.30), is that correct?
Yes, any selected track can receive MIDI from an external keyboard. In system settings, each of the 8 tracks can be assigned a MIDI channel (1-16) so any track can be controlled by a DAW sequence or device.
Hey man! awesome sounds! Really cool! Could you compare the rc 505 to the mc707 in terms of looping? I have the rc 505 mk1 and looking for a replacement. Can you set up the 707 to be as performance-oriented as the 505 in the looping? Do you need to set the quantize before you looper? Or can u loop it freely like the 505? :)
hey sorry for late reply, i think the 505 is much easier to loop. On the 707 you can activate the quantizer before and after recording. But I feel like you can loop more freely on the 505.
Hey man. killer set up and jam. Question: what are your main audio outs coming from/where are your headphones plugged into? Is it the 505 or the 707? It looks like the 707 is basically triggering that whole set up, is that correct? nice job again.
Hey thanks for your comment! Correct the 707 is triggering that whole set up. The headphones are plugged into an interface (scarlett 2i2). And the mc 707 and rc505 are connected to that interface.
may i ask how your setup works? do u find inputs 3 and 4 a bit useless on the 4i4? without the preamp they are way too quiet for my rig. what mixer do u use?
thanks for your comment! I have only two inputs in my focusrite. In this video i recorded from the mc707 and the rc505 from its mono output. But now I record everything in multitrack directly from the usb connector
@@ozanfratkuz3123 I think it is better to use the mc707 as clock master. Use a midi cable that goes from the midi output of the mc to the midi inptu of the rc505
