This brings back memories of trVell8ng on overnight Scottish Citylink services from London to Glasgow and Edinburgh, wonderful journeys especially seeing the sun rise over the Debateable Lands and the Southern Uplands.
Gosh watching these reminds me of all the times I used to do them from Newcastle to London and back to visit family down there. I can cope with the night coach but the day ones can be a bit much. I used take my sandwich, crisps and drink and chocolate bar with me when I used to do it 😂😂😂.
Enjoyed the video and what a great price. Felt sorry for you having to use the underground on a very hot day.i think i would have used thameslink to herne hill then herne hill to Victoria both trains being air conditioned 😊
Hi there, thanks for this great video! As I'm planning the same joumery, I'd like to ask you two questions please. Where did you buy the ticket ? What about the tiolet in the coach? Thank you 😊
Any chance could you plot the route in Google Earth? Only you say let's look at the route when in reality it's the two coach stations. Keep up the good work 👍
It's a hot, sticky day, and you took the Victoria Line? Ouch. That looked like a relatively painless ride up to Edinburgh. Could you stretch your legs a few times?
40 years after the summer of 1976 you’d think that 23 years into the 21st century London as a world city would have better air con these days including tube stock. Heatwaves are not uncommon.
I think it’s to do with just how deep some lines are, you have to remember some of the lines were built in Victorian times or pre-war years. At least The Elizabeth Line has aircon, being a new train line.
Which is better going by coach from London to Edinburgh or going by train or flying to Edinburgh. I’m not that keen on coach trips but I have been on several trips before on the coach.
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. I'd go for the train all day long city centre to city centre, coach travel is very long and airports mean transfers.

Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. I booked the ticket on the Megabus website and the toilets, well being 6ft 1 i can hardly fit in to them.
@@TheGeordieTravels thank you for your kind reply and sorry about the toilet. I'm looking forward to your next video ! I've just subscribed 👍

Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. I'm not sure, sorry.
hi! is there good wifi connection during the trip?
Hi, thanks for watching. Yes there is wifi but i don't use it as i get a good connection anyway.
These short nights are very disorientating aren't they - you got to Newcastle in broad daylight but still had 2 hours or so to go!
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. They sure are, although i prefer them to shorter days.

Hi mate, thanks for watching. Yeah i know, it was sweltering - it was very painless really in comparrison to some other journies.

Don't do voiceovers
Why not?
@@TheGeordieTravels Because you can not hear the ambience
Your voiceovers are great and love the accent! Keep doing them.

Mr Geordies voice is nice and clear for voiceovers. 100%.
Voice over better than captions
