Hi I have recently purchased this gem, the proxxon ff500 cnc, the cad / cam program is nccad professional 9, I use other programs as cad. Unfortunately, being a beginner with CNCs, I can't make my piece mill where I want ... risking milling the vice :(, for example if I wanted to make a hole in the center of a plate it is not centered but goes where it wants .. I reset the axes in a corner of the piece by pressing ctrl + x / y / z when I launch the program but it goes where it wants ... I hope someone can help me :)
Set to the workpiece center using indicator. Then execute G54 X0 Y0 Z0. This will tell machine to use current tool position as zero in x, y and z. You can reset to zero only Z by G54 Z0. Read on G54 more in the help section of the program.
As always, great job mate 👍
I would like to buy the 12G brass that’s cut out like a screw driver head. Not sure what you call them.
Find local machinist or machine shop and show them this PDF disk.yandex.ru/i/Y-8suuz3mkH48g
