Thank you so much for this video! I've been wanting to upgrade from my stock freewheel to the White Industries one, and this gave me a ton of good context. Thanks especially for taking them apart to show the pawls and points of engagement.
That profile elite is like the Chris king of free wheel noise lol. I am personally a huge fan of white industries on all my road bikes. Currently have 4 wheelset all white industries hubs. I love their titanium free hubs.
I wore through a WI outer gear in less than a year Tbf, I probably should have changed the chain in that time, but yeh, Looking at either replacing the outer casing on the WI or getting the profile elite
I recently installed a Profile Elite on a 20" bmx project bike. When I have the bike on the stand and crank up the rear wheel to speed, the cranks keep turning. Is that the ghost pedaling you are talking about with the Orgin 8 freewheel?
I have a white industries eno 18 t it's very smooth I also have a origin hornet 18 t , when I received it I shook it and it had rattle , attempted to open but couldn't the hornet is loud , slight wobble , plenty of drag ,which I have minimised alot. can you compare others to the hornet, like halo clickstar , ros, box for loudness, smoothness ,serviceability
@@areacycles You should man, I'm sorry but I ordered from a BMX shop yesterday. I tried to donate to your channel to thank you for the breakdown, but couldn't find away to do it, so I subbed. Thank you again.
Ride out supply sounds good but ghost pedals consistently not a major deal as i am just a old cruiser guy but sucks when rolling bike thru house avoiding obsticles
I have the White Industries eno on my cruiser. There is a ton of slack in it. It tells you something that they have a better version in the trials. I dont even know why they sell both still. Anyway I"m annoyed at myself because i didnt buy the trials to begin with. Im going to get a Profile and be done.
Been wanting to replace my 10 year old White Industries Freewheel with either the trials version or a profile. I can replace the shark finned teeth for 60 but I kinda would rather just replace the whole thing. Still not sure on my next move.
Ssludos 🙌👍

The White industries are my go to since 2008 and are super quality but I'll need to pickup a profile for my next build.
Excellent comparison video, so glad i chose a bought the Profile yesterday, thanks

iam a huge fan a white products too, just with they would add a few more points of engagement in the freewheels.
What kind of maintenance should be done on the White Industries so that it lasts long?
@@areacycles getcha that green "trials" version, 6 pawls and 72 points of engagement....
Thanks for the comparison breakdown!
The Profile sounds a lot like the Box ones I’ve been running.
Cooĺ review. Thanks for posting.
Sad to hear about the Origin 8 freewheel. I use their gears as they seem the best to me.
Good video I was wondering what's the difference between the white industries hub compared to a surly steel tooth single speed cog thank you

Profile definitely my favorite
Great vid. 👍

Would like to see the white industry trials in comparison with the profile elite

Thanks for making this video, you sold me on the Elite. Do you have a website, or can I order from you?
I don’t…but I should put these up on my site. Or eBay store.

Can you do one with the halo clickster
Do the Box 2/ Ride Out Supply/ Hornets have sealed or lose bearings?
Ride out supply sounds good but ghost pedals consistently not a major deal as i am just a old cruiser guy but sucks when rolling bike thru house avoiding obsticles
Your chain probably slightly too tight that causes ghost pedaling with high engagement freewheels
@@igotthejuice2090 thanks for the tip!
@igotthejuice2090 i have tried tight chain loose chain tight cranks and loose cranks nothing remedys the ghost pedal with ros
Thanks for the video man. As much as I love that profile elite sound 160+ is just so steep for something I don't even need.
Which one is better out of the WI & Profile?
Profile élite 🐝
What kind of maintenance should be done on the White Industries so that it lasts long?
What size is the profile elite freewheel inside thread? The standard like or origin hornet or the small one
Standard...not the small one
Please, please help me. Can I install the Profile Elite Freewheel on the Skyway Tuff Wheel? Please reply
The skyway should have threads on the hub to spin the profile fw onto
Am I able to put a profile elite freewheel on a big flyer se bike (stock hub)
Do you have the profile elite freewheel in stock?

Can they fit on skyway wheels ?
Yes they can
Dose Profile Elite require their tool to install?
Yep. It's proprietary to profile
I would think you would only need the tool to remove one. And why would anybody ever do that?
Profile has smaller POE teeth, WI has bigger. Does that matters?

Replaced it with a trials, was a good move. Now even if the chain is super loose it still feels like there is no chain slop at all.
can i purchase it on amazon?
Какой номер подшипника?
I just received the profile elite and I can hon say that I’m disappointed with the sound. I have 3 Origin 8’s and it is louder than the Profile elite.
