- There has been confusion recently over who the strongest mortal in the dragon ball super manga specifically because there's actually people saying Black Frieza is stronger when we know that's just factually wrong

Jiren's been massively retconned. So he's no longer stronger than Belmod , Beerus or any of the gods of Destruction. The new Xenoverse DLC Jiren story showed that Belmod convinced the the other gods of destruction to hold back the full power of their hakai blasts so it wouldn't kill Jiren. Belmod himself at one point reluctantly was about to hakai Jiren to complete obliteration if MUI didn't stop him. He's no longer the power house he was in the TOP. Currently everyone's caught up to his TOP levels of power: Beast, MUI, and Black Frieza are all equal to TOP Jiren.
During the TOP MUI wouldve defeated him if his body didnt collapse. But Jiren only lost because he never takes the level of risk Goku to win a battle. Otherwise they were exactly equal in power in the anime. In the manga he proved to be stronger than MUI regarding raw power as he took the full power of MUI and then knocked MUI out of Goku. He was superior to Goku in that he could go back and forth between his LB state and base state at will during an intense battle. Goku has just been shown to do this in his battle against Gohan. Meaning from the TOP - Granolah Arc Jiren was superior to MUI Goku.
Xenoverse scaling is completely different there's insane things going on with that. Ones that I don't want to touch.
And only anime versions of goku and gohan had surpassed jiren in the anime, I've said that.
In the manga nobody has, jiren knocked ui out of goku in base he's also stated stronger than the destroyers which is why no mortal is stronger than he is, not black frieza, ui, nor beast gohan
Their different forms of scaling depending on what version you choose
@@smeeshy656 manga is merely supplementary , anime is the main show , besides even in the manga jiren is far behind goku and vegeta , as well as broly and gohan
Thats fair but the two are two different canons completely which is why the scaling is different for each since jiren is 3 on the anime and 1 in the manga
