Changes I would make if Uub and the kids were the leads after End of Z: Set in Age 778. 3 years after End of Z, Goku finishes training Uub. They go to enter the 26th Tenkaichi Budokai as Uub's "graduation" only to find Mr. Satan pressured the tournament organisers to reinstate the Junior division. Here Uub befriends Pan, Bra, Marron, and #17's biological child. After Uub wins the junior tournament, #17's child invites the kids to Monster Island. Adult Goten & Trunks could go with the kids since they have nostalgic memories from being Monster Island Rangers as kids (as shown in the DBS manga). Goku leaves to train with Vegeta in space but encourages Uub to find new masters and develop on his own. On Monster Island they meet #16 who was repaired by Bulma and Dr. Hedo. #16 is a Monster Island Ranger who looks after the Cell Jr's (as seen in the DBS manga). #17's child takes the kids to cave he found where Bibidi hid his original ship when Majin Buu was sealed on Earth in the past. Bra ends up repairing and activating the ship which is piloted by magical golem/android. the golem informs them that Monster Island is a part of the Demon Realm transported Earth. Bibidi's Golem then transports the kids, Goten, and Trunks to the Demon Realm via the ship. #16 and the cell Jr's are left behind and go inform #17, #18, and Krillin. Bibidi's golems takes them through Warp-sama with an old code he has, but they are not able to leave the Demon Realm. Their ship is damaged so they are trapped. Bibidi's Golem tells them the only way they can leave is if they get permission from the Makaishin the 1st Demon World, or if they gather the Demon Realm Dragon Balls and wish to leave. Adult Gotenks fights the 3rd Tamagami. Uub fights the 2nd Tamagami. Meanwhile Arisu and Degasu sense the Dai Kaioshin's god ki from Uub and investigate their arrival. They learn about the events of the Buu saga. Degasu immediately going to Earth with Neva, to didnap Dende and steal the Dragon Balls, but don't make a wish. Arisu goes to witch to create Majin Kuu and Duu who she uses to defeat the 1st Tamagami. Meanwhile the adults learn of the kids disappearance and Dende's kidnapping. Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, Gohan, Videl, Mr. Satan, Majin Buu, #17, #18, Krillin, Piccolo, Shin, and Kibito all travel to the Demon Realm to trescue Dende and the kids. They travel in Shin's ship that Bulma repairs. If the ship isn't big enough they can travel inside Buu or something. Eventually the adults finally catch up with the kids in the 2nd Demon Realm and witness Uub defeat the 2nd Tamagami. They travel to the 1st Demon World together to defeat Arisu and Degasu, and rescue Dende.
Hi so I do enjoy Daima. It feels like a great sequel to the Buu saga, which is very underrated and quite frankly disrespected too much. I love all of the lore. My only issues with Daima is that it is set too soon after the Buu saga. This would have been a great story post End of Z with Uub and the other kids as the leads. Focusing mainly on Uub, Pan, Bra, Marron, and 17's biological child. (Toriyama said 17 has two adopted children and 1 biological child. So I would just make the adopted children very young.) It would have been an opportunity to allow Uub to learn about his Majin Buu and his origins.
