Such a great camping experience and beautiful image Noah! Andromeda is so cool. I’m sending you greetings from the extremely remote Manitoba/Nunavut border! No roads. No towns or cities. Just pure Bortle 1 skies, and the northern lights that I’m currently watching while listening to the timber wolves howl! Dr B from Manitoba, Canada 🇨🇦

Wow Noah. You just rock! I remember the first time I saw the Andromeda galaxy with my naked eyes, it was a moment of profound wonder, realizing that the light entering my retinas was from the oldest thing I would ever recognize without augmenting equipment. But this image you captured is just magical. It looks three dimensional, and so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your wonder with us.

Thank you so much Robert! It's a magical experience, seeing Andromeda with just your eyes or a telescope! I have a long history of admiring such a special object! Thank you greatly and I'm so glad I was able to bring wonder from it! :)

Simply breathtaking. I never imagined the final image to be so spectacular. I really appreciate these videos Noah. They keep reminding me of how awe inspiring our universe is. Thanks for sharing with us your dinner at the camp site. I'm pretty sure it was tasty. And thanks to your dad for making this trip possible. Let him know we appreciate his help.

Well done! I plan to do the same thing in a couple weeks down in Everglades National Park. Bortle 2 skies down there. My plan is Andromeda, Pleiades, and Orion Nebula in one night.

Another MN astronomer! Great video! At some point I'm planning a trip to our bortle 2 spot near Itasca State Park. It would be cool to share that with someone that knows what they're doing.

Terrific that a young person is so interested in, and so awed by, the night sky. One note: Acorns don't fall from pine trees (but pine cones sure do, particularly when helped by hungry squirrels).

Just come across this channel and subbed. Your video's are awesome. I'm a photographer myself, would you be able to attach a camera to the telesecope like a sony A7RV for example? Would the results be better than the camera you currently use?
