I remember playing the Game Gear. The only disadvantage was the regular change of batteries but it was a nice experience anyway. I didn’t remember the games i played in it but i’m sure this one is not one of them. Was Fang even a popular character ? Thanks LPA😊
My most favorite Sonic game on the Game Gear. If it wasn't for Sonic Adventure DX on GameCube, I would have never experience this game along with the other Sonic Game Gear titles.

The master system was dead in America but let's remember America isn't the only location where the Master System was sold. In Europe the Master System was still a little popular but not that much. That's why this game didn't have a port for Master System

After you defeat Knuckles in Tidal Plant Act 3 if you didn't get all the chaos emeralds, then what should have happened is that instead of Knuckles doing his drowning animation, he would simply escape in his machine with an angry look. Then, in Atomic Destroyer Act 3, instead of fighting Metal Sonic, you would fight Knuckles once again, only this time he would be EVEN MORE difficult than last time and after you defeat him, he would run away swearing revenge another day and after you defeat Robotnik, you would free either Tails or Sonic, depending on who you played as which would be followed by a cutscene of Robotnik and Knuckles laughing evil since they still have all the emeralds.
