No problem Noah! First time seeing this fan game part of SAGE 2020 not only had caught my attention but was one of the first fan games I wanted to try out, up to this point there's definitely a lot of great things I say about this fan game, especially when it came to the full game coming out. I stand by what I say about this fan game being one of best fan games I've played, so good that I actually plan on doing some full game speedruns on it at some point. Overall, 5 years of hard work on this fan game was honestly worth playing in my opinion, really well done! 👍🏾👍🏾

Downloaded earlier this morning and came back to this video to specifically say bravo to the creators - this is far and away one of the greatest fan projects I've ever played, possibly THE best. It's breathtaking. They deserve every accolade for this.
Same here! I thought Sonic Classic 2, and the fallen star were disappointing. Sonic Axiom and Sonic Time Twisted were dull and unoriginal, and 3D in 2D was utterly awful. This is fantastic though!
This and Fallen Star have been the best Sonic fangame projects I have seen in 2022. To me, this version of Triple Trouble would've been the perfect sequel to S3&K. As much as I love Mania, this fangame feels more organic and original.
One thing I appreciate about this is that it isn’t all “make Sonic go super fast.” That stereotype is never what the OG games were like. Going super fast was reserved for those who mastered the level already. In a sense, Sonic was the first game to be built with support for speed running.
That's a good way to put it - speedrunning is always very accessible in sonic games. Hell, look at something like Marble Garden, you'll probably cut of at least 4 minutes from your first playthrough

@@TheMk1thomas It's not that Knuckles was kidnapped, but rather he made his way into Eggman’s base on his own (getting a vision from the Master Emerald that he needed to stop Eggman from getting the Chaos Emeralds). And at the last moment, he was captured by Eggman shortly before Sonic and Tails showed up. You can see it all happen in his own story :)
I like how Nack the Weasel is more of a threat this time instead of being a petty villain, such as how he tried to take you out with the burning train.
Bro, Sunset Park Act 3 was AMAZING! I loved how many changes were made while still being faithful to the original, you’re actually chasing the train this time, you climb up onto the train, Fang is constantly chasing you, he used the dynamite to separate the cars, making Sonic and Tails go back to chasing the train, and that fire wall part was insane! Kudos to Noah for thinking of all that! Not only that, but I like how the Special Stages combine the Tornado sections with Fang’s time trial stages, this whole game insanely creative
Yes! Being able to switch between Sonic and Tails on the fly like that is easily one of my favorite parts of this game! It really opens up your methods of exploration, and you can approach everything a lot more openly than in the other classics.
Yeah, it was really cool getting to see the Chaos Emeralds be warped back into the special stage zones on-screen. Don't think we've ever seen that before (save the ending of Sonic 1, although it's implied they went to Westside Island back then).
Excellent! It's fantastic to see a fangame like this get completed. H. Kojima does it again...? (Check the original game's credits.) Really, the only thing I don't vibe with here is needing to do those 3 segments in ADZ Act 2 (just like in Mania where you have to do those 4 segments in TMZ Act 2), it makes the level really long. Otherwise, it all looks great! Love the Mickey Mania-like segment in RWZ Act 2.
Woah the entire game came out! I remember playing the demo like atleast a year or so back. Glad to see this wasn’t discontinued or anything like that. Definitely will try this out later
Between amazing talent like Noah and Christian Whitehead, Sega’s really gonna have to step it up now. Either get more focused on creating well-made games or hire these guys and give them the pay and respect they deserve so they can make official games that play like this. Absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to try this out.
Bruh. This is just a really high quality remake. I love this game and all, but you're really overhyping Sonic fan games in general. Recall that Sonic Mania's release as an official game was a one in a million event. It's a miracle we even got it in the first place.
Interesting bit of trivia: at 1:15:20 you'll see a cool background parallax effect that looks like 3D corridors extending deep into the background. The Genesis actually was able to produce this visual effect and I believe this scene is a subtle homage to the cult classic game Ranger X, which has a segment with very similar background corridors.
If I'm remembering correctly, I saw this upload back a few months ago where the game was not completed, but now it is. So glad after so long, they've finally made it back to this fan game to fully succeed it. This is probably one of the best Sonic fan games to date, and I'm surprised to see what all the developer can do. Thank you for this amazing upload, see you tomorrow Jaypin ✌🏿
This is the best sonic fan game since Before the Sequel! It feels so polished, and the original levels have been really fleshed out. Each one is packed with unique ideas and concepts. Bravo!
I'm blown away by how natural Sunset Park 3 feels, it's amazing. I went back to watch the original and I think that in every way this is a major improvement over that one, including the addition of animal containers. It was very satisfying to see them all getting released, plus it gives right of existence to the whole vehicle. I also love how the exploding engine rains bits and pieces down.
This is an incredible game! The original Triple Trouble for the Game Gear was one of my favourite games as a child, and seeing it remade like this with elements of Sonic 3 and Knuckles is mind blowing!
That campaign option you saw in the Competition menu is a whole other story of its own. Think Super Smash Bros.' Classic Mode, but with only Sonic characters and a connected storyline behind it.
Idk if anyone else has had this bug, but if you play Knuckles' story, his lives always reset back to 5 when beating a level or bonus stage. His score likes to reset too as well.
My god, this is so magnificently well done. Everything's so imaginatively enhanced to make things flow in a narrative! I also seem to be getting Rocket Knight Adventures/Sparkster vibes from certain aspects of the final boss and end credits, and if that's deliberate I extra love it.
The whole effort of making it look like a proper Sega Genesis game and presentation makes it feel like a "Sonic the Hedgehog 4" of some sorts, like something Sega would develop as a goodbye to the Genesis
I went back and checked out the original GG game to see what changed. It was a whole lot! This isn't so much a 16-bit port as much as a complete re-imagining. The general ideas of the stage zones, plot, and antagonists form the basis, but this is such an incredible upgrade in graphics, sound, and overall gameplay. The dev team really improved a lot in terms of introducing new set pieces, modernizing aspects of the gameplay, improving the special stages, and introducing new mechanics to keep things fresh as you progress through the game. Basically they took a mobile game which was good back in the day (but quite dated now) and remade it into an excellent classic Sonic game. I kind of wonder how this would have been received if it was released back in the day as an expansion to Sonic 3. Incredible work from the developers for sure, and one of the best Sonic fan projects I've seen.

Triple Trouble was always my favorite Sonic game growing up 1 - because it was the first Sonic game I ever beat, 2 - because it was always fun to replay, 3- because it was full of adventure. Excited to dive into this! Will there be a genesis port coming for emulation or just windows/android?

That Metal Sonic remix combining elements from both the global and US versions of Stardust Speedway bad future is GREAT. The global version will always have that nostalgic feeling for me, but both versions are fantastic and hearing them mashed up like this is gold.
I've just noticed, that when I was playing the game and after I got the chaos emerald, I paused and restarted the level,when I went back to the chaos emerald hiding spot, it looked like a yellow ring, and when I went in it, it made me into the next level!
The music and sounds in this fan game are neato to listen to! I like watching full fan game playthroughs (you really - don't know - what you're gonna get)!

I've been waiting for this release since this fan game's first demo back a few years ago. Now I can finally play the whole thing and see what the fan project's maker had in mind. Sonic Triple Trouble was one of my favorite games back when I played Sonic Gems Collection on the GameCube (and sometimes on PS2). EDIT: I forgot to say this. The only thing is that wasn't this game suppose to take place after Sonic Chaos since this is also called Sonic & Tails 2? I feel that would have made more sense.

Wow! I really enjoyed this video. I watched it from start to finish and let me say that this game here to me is more impressive than Sonic Mania and you played it really well. I like that it's got some extra content not seen in the original 8-bit game such as ''Egg Zeppelin Zone'' and new Special Stages and Bonus Stages including unlockables.
This is really epic, Seeing Fang returning from old games is incredible, and Knuckles sorta being a rival and a friend at the same time. Wants to destroy Sonic and Tails but later then regrets it, true sonic game, this fan game is wonderful! Sad that it's only fan made
Hey @Noah N Copeland I know the chronology of the 16 bit sonic games so cause im a huge fan since day 1 but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this fanmade remake game on how this event took place after the death egg event of sonic 3 and knuckles (This here Prologue) in the GENESIS 16 bit world and not the handheld sonic games (Sega GameGear) This Could of been a brand new chapter for a TRUE Sonic The Hedgehog 4 : Triple Trouble imo Love the Prologue my dude!! mad props!! I always had a soft spot for this game on game gear, so seeing a fan made version where I can play it without suffering from screen crunch is really cool.
Lot of good ideas in this Sonic. It's amazing. Spécial stage is good, the start with terrest race and the end with Tornado plane race. The story with "bad Knukles....". Sonic can unlock super sonic only at the end and after restart the game. The unlock characters. Musics are fun. Wouaou this game it's a must. For me missing only two things: - more bonus stage (checkpoint stage) -Achevements 😁 (like end with sonic only, end with Tails only....)
Wow! I am at loss for words. So there is a fully playable fan-made remake of Sonic Triple Trouble featuring Mega Drive styled graphics?! It's incredible! The presentation alone makes this game look like it could be officially published by Sega. Not to mention that the level design reeks like professionalism. It just looks so polished that it seems hard to believe it is all fan-made. There seems to be some gameplay changes made, but I don't see any of them as a bad thing. If anything, this remake makes the story more sensible, since it is revealed that "Knuckles", who opposes Sonic again, is not Knuckles at all. I really liked the opening scene and battle, and I commend the team creating the best version of Sonic & Knuckles Eggman battle music ever. If only it was used more often than once. Still, bravo, Noah N. Copeland & Co.! Well done!

That Metal Sonic remix combining elements from both the global and US versions of Stardust Speedway bad future is GREAT. The global version will always have that nostalgic feeling for me, but both versions are fantastic and hearing them mashed up like this is gold.

I've just noticed, that when I was playing the game and after I got the chaos emerald, I paused and restarted the level,when I went back to the chaos emerald hiding spot, it looked like a yellow ring, and when I went in it, it made me into the next level!
Already starting off to Eggman using a back-up bot that acts like in Sonic 2's "Final Boss" fight but with lasers this time. wow!

I've been waiting for this release since this fan game's first demo back a few years ago. Now I can finally play the whole thing and see what the fan project's maker had in mind. Sonic Triple Trouble was one of my favorite games back when I played Sonic Gems Collection on the GameCube (and sometimes on PS2).
EDIT: I forgot to say this. The only thing is that wasn't this game suppose to take place after Sonic Chaos since this is also called Sonic & Tails 2? I feel that would have made more sense.

Wow! I really enjoyed this video. I watched it from start to finish and let me say that this game here to me is more impressive than Sonic Mania and you played it really well. I like that it's got some extra content not seen in the original 8-bit game such as ''Egg Zeppelin Zone'' and new Special Stages and Bonus Stages including unlockables.

This is really epic, Seeing Fang returning from old games is incredible, and Knuckles sorta being a rival and a friend at the same time. Wants to destroy Sonic and Tails but later then regrets it, true sonic game, this fan game is wonderful! Sad that it's only fan made

Hey @Noah N Copeland I know the chronology of the 16 bit sonic games so cause im a huge fan since day 1 but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this fanmade remake game on how this event took place after the death egg event of sonic 3 and knuckles (This here Prologue) in the GENESIS 16 bit world and not the handheld sonic games (Sega GameGear) This Could of been a brand new chapter for a TRUE Sonic The Hedgehog 4 : Triple Trouble imo Love the Prologue my dude!! mad props!! I always had a soft spot for this game on game gear, so seeing a fan made version where I can play it without suffering from screen crunch is really cool.

Lot of good ideas in this Sonic. It's amazing.
Spécial stage is good, the start with terrest race and the end with Tornado plane race.
The story with "bad Knukles....".
Sonic can unlock super sonic only at the end and after restart the game.
The unlock characters.
Musics are fun.
Wouaou this game it's a must.
For me missing only two things:
- more bonus stage (checkpoint stage)
-Achevements 😁 (like end with sonic only, end with Tails only....)
Sunset park act 3 is my favorite level and track of this game, and with the added stuff in this one made me love it more!
Wow! I am at loss for words. So there is a fully playable fan-made remake of Sonic Triple Trouble featuring Mega Drive styled graphics?! It's incredible! The presentation alone makes this game look like it could be officially published by Sega. Not to mention that the level design reeks like professionalism. It just looks so polished that it seems hard to believe it is all fan-made.
There seems to be some gameplay changes made, but I don't see any of them as a bad thing. If anything, this remake makes the story more sensible, since it is revealed that "Knuckles", who opposes Sonic again, is not Knuckles at all. I really liked the opening scene and battle, and I commend the team creating the best version of Sonic & Knuckles Eggman battle music ever. If only it was used more often than once. Still, bravo, Noah N. Copeland & Co.! Well done!
