I didn't know a nation other then Japan marched like this.
They'rearching like that because the song and celebration is memorialising the Japanese occupation, in which the Burmese National Army and others of the such were formed. This song has a remarkably similar tune to the Japanese cavalry song Aiba Shingunka.
If you seeing Indonesian military parade, we still marched with Japanese salute.

It is not true even Burmese officers had to salute Japanese infantryman when they see as westerners said.In old video of this, th-cam.com/video/b-YIpwHwUyk/w-d-xo.html You can see general shijiro lida salute to Burmese officer cadets in parade. The reality is most of front line soilders to Imphal kohema warfare are Japanese and so they pay respect to soilders leaving front by giving salute.Later Burmese tutors are provided to train BDA after 1st batch of officers cadet and even sent scholor officers to Japan for further training. IJA is instrumental in forming of nowadays Burmese National Army only based on patriotism.

Not only do the shorts-wearing units look very reminiscent of IJA infantry (different pants, but overall quite similar), but it looks like they are armed the same way: those are Arisaka Type 99 rifles!
Of course, because it is tribute to Imperial Japanese Army since current Burmese Army was formed during WW2 by Japanese instructors, colonel Suzuki Keji and thirty comrades in Hainan Island, nowadays Sanya!!! But only second and third marching band are IJA tribute. The first one you say is called Burma Rifle,7th Division, under British 1930s to 1940.

We fought side by side with Japan in Infa Kohima front,sent cadet scholarships to Japan,only change the side near end of war in 1945. Well,If i'm not wrong,These Marching Troops represent the BIA,The Burma Independent Army.They were taught by japanese officers and had heavy influences on them,so that's probably the reason why BIA's military tactics and uniforms look quite similar to IJA's.
