My 2018 911 4S (991.2) has 424 HP and PDK (which shifts better than any human can) but with the 4 wheel steering option it makes lane changes at high speed so much better. The sports exhaust is the same on all models & sounds great. Sports + does close the exhaust valves for more turbo back pressure. Due to the lower weight, the 424hp can get from 0-60 in about 3.3 sec w/the launch feature and normally keeps up with Lambo/ Ferrari & the likes. Kills domestics (Hellcat etc) due the 4 wheel drive. A monster out of the hole. Best daily driver sports coupe ever !
Amazing comment! Thank you very much for the extra info. It was the highlight of my entire summer getting the opportunity to drive this car. I never understood the hype behind the 911, until I actually got to drive it. It’s now my favourite sports car ever!

Yes on Sport+, spooling turbos and not wasting power out exhaust. I found my keeper after 70+ cars, a 2019 991.2 4 gts. Perfect blend of tech and analog for me. No interest in 992s.
The GTS does develop more HP and TQ but as far as exhaust note goes, I doubt that there is much difference if you equip it with the optional Sport Exhaust. Since I’ve never driven the Carrera GTS, I sadly cannot confirm 100%.

Thanks for the great video. I am looking at the BMW M3 2016 Cayman GTS manual or the 2017 911 Carrera 4S. This is going to be a difficult decision.

I have a 2017 4S with a Factory Powerkit (GTS Engine). Bigger Turbos than the 4S and 30 HP more.
