Ah, those memories. I loved playing this game back in the day. At the start of every campaign after the first random mission, i always went ot a starbase ans swapped out my officers for better ones. I always felt i got a slight advantage out of it. I then upgrated my transporters. I liked capturing ships for the extra prestige. Loved playing the romulans, hated those plama torps. I should install it again.
Yeah, but better officers were not always available. And the game really annoyed me by forcibly teleporting my ship to the story mission, oftenly while I was busy with upgrades at the shipyard.
