My parents used to have a video tape of these guys. They played it many times for my little kids, which resulted in them going around the house stomping and clapping like maniacs. Fast forward about 15 years: my 19 year old son is the church drummer.
I've been able to see this stage show 3 times. All were equally good and the performers never missed a beat as far as I could tell. It's lively, funny and brilliant entertainment for any age. If I get another chance, I'll grab a ticket, for sure.
Use to live in Jeffersonville,In and went and watched a show like this back about 20 or so years ago live, it was an amazing and awesome show, this video DOES NOT do the live show any justice. This was amazing to watch again, these people are so talented, Semper Fi from an old Marine
It's absolutely nuts. Percussive harmony at it's finest. The noise is so awesome. It's exactly what i'd need to hear to feel good about charging towards my death during a war. I used to listen to it before football games to get fired up and rip some heads off in high school.
For all those wondering their names: pause at 5:30, from left to right they are Paul Bend, Keith Midleton, Melanie Joseph, Nathaniel Conroy, Jason Mills, Simone Clark, John Sawicki and Andy Patrick.

AMAZING COORDINATION AND RHYTHMS!!! I have seen live STOMP 6 times...each performance equally as good and exciting as the one before. Terrific concept!!
What I love about stump as a company is that of course they’re using their bodies and all these cool things to do rhythms with that you wouldn’t think of but coming from a dance background and spending hours in a dance studio learning dance steps and practicing to be in sync and getting every step right and everybody is doing the same step at the same time it’s really cool to see a group using elements of tap dancing but if you watch they’re all doing the same rhythm but using their body and their feet and their hands in different ways to get that rhythm.... which is Exciting to watch for a former dancer after years of practicing to Make sure that everybody’s feet was in the same place at the same time doing the same thing in the same way…… It’s really cool to see how each person expresses the rhythm with their body in different ways yet the end result is all the same sound!
Saw the original Stomp in the Tunnel Club in London - must have been over thirty years ago! Still remember how inventive they were: hand, foot & body music; fast drumming swinging tennis balls in long socks; dustbin lids; plastic barrels, and female member of audience ‘volunteered’ to sit with her head inside a big tub & had to scream when they bashed it 😳. Pure bloody brilliant!
Even when the first guy is clapping normally to make the audience clap like from 3:09 - 3:15, you can tell he's clapping with all of his strength and force and clapping in just the right part of the hand so as to make the loudest possible sound. Just extraordinary; you can tell they didn't skimp on anything.
I had the opportunity to watch this show in NYC for my birthday and audition for the London show! We had to improvise using this rhythm! Just to be on that stage with some of the cast was incredible.
These amazing beings just gave us the biggest high watching!👏😁👏 What a BEAUTIFUL ENERGY BOOSTING share! One of my favorites I've seen! Thanks for sharing and much love! 👏👏👏👏 💗🤗💗👏👏👏👏
I love that they are in 4/4 but they avoid predictable patterns for the majority...then when they do a predictable pattern it is on point and welcomed.

I only wish I had this level of physical and mental coordination. Instead, I'll watch these absolutely talented people instead. It's great if you close your eyes and just listen to it, too.
Amazing! I've seen them perform twice b4 - 1999 & 2009. Watching them again in Jun this year. This time I'm taking my girl with me. It'll be great!! Can't wait! Stomp 2013!

@@cassie9981 no! They are from Down under. ( Australia for the uninformed. ) and the Blue Man group is just a copy in some way!
5:14 when they all fall into step and carry out that heavy, fast percussive stomp sequence. Chills every time.
That's why they are called stomp lol

Or white man, black boi chicken lover, person, tall, black boi revenge of the black boi, school bully, meh
Awesome to think that their bodies are creating such an amazing sound, blown away!!!

Probably a few days to a week maybe a bit longer. It’s just counting.
