Incredible talent… truly amazing performance. To possess the ability to make an entire performance using rudimentary ‘instruments’ that is entertaining, amusing and breathtaking … that is real talent. Well done !!
I remember in 4th grade when my music teacher was telling us that we don't need fancy instruments to make beautiful music, then she played this.. I didn't really think about it then, but as a music nerd now, it is just, wow. *soft chuckle* I can still smell all the different oils, waxes, and new instruments💖🎼
Don’t you believe in using initiative to make something that is not only beneficial for making music but also for getting the mind working and creative too?
I saw Stomp in NYC many years ago on a class trip while in college at PACE UNIVERSITY here in NY. it was AWESOME, such an unforgettable night and show. Thank You for posting this content here on YT so i can experience Stomp again. Blue Man Group was another wildly popular production at the time but i missed out on buying tickets to see it live, so i will def. be checking it on either on here or on DVD. thanks again. muchas gracias.
There first public showing was in Marin County,California. They were invited to play by Industrial Light and Magic (George Lucas) and the entire company was present, myself included. This stage set-up looks the same as I remember. We all stood up and with a warm and proud company yell, we welcomed all of them to a very successful future. The rest is HISTORY, THANK YOU ALL.
the man with the tatoos is so funny and he really preformed his character so good that's why without saying any thing or just when people saw him they start to laugh
You were lucky. We used to watch Oliver over and over. I still wake up some mornings singing. "Who will buy my beautiful roses!" I mean I left school over 20 fecking years ago!
I've been doing this for all of my 71 years and never knew it was "a thing" . Glad I found out about it before it was too late, and died thinking I was the only one 😲😜
Saw this in Brighton, where it all started. Still one of the best ever live shows ever.
One of the few acts that contain melody, not just a beat! So cool!

Music can always be made, but money can't, unfortunately
Stomp has always been incredible
I have to say this is the first time I ever heard or come across this type of musical this is quite entertaining and very well coordinated
I saw Stomp on stage in Michigan a few years ago, have been hooked and so impressed with their productions. So entertaining!
These were the best days of music class walk in old VHS screen hell ya
This has to be the best one Ive watched so far. sounds so pretty, like the generic raindrop sound.
Loveddddd it. The choreography is amazing!!!
Keep coming back to the hosepipe part. Brilliant!
Oh man, I saw these guys when I was a kid and they were absolutely amazing! I love that they can create music like this. ❤
Would you happen to know their names please? Who is the lead guy? The short fella?

I saw the original Stomp in London’s Tunnel Club in the 1970’s. Astonishing then, and still absolutely brilliant!

lovin' brooms. love stomp. make me smile on the bad days. thanks.
Saw this show live in Manhattan, years ago... couldn’t figure out if I was watching a dance recital or a percussion recital.
I thought the little brooms and hosepipes Bart with just janitors happy with their job until I realized they’re the same people as the performers.
Wow! I just discovered this. It is really amazing. I love it!!!
Its unbelievable but it is a really good sound
Loved this show so much would go back again each time they come to NZ

Ils sont incroyables. Je les adore. J’aimerais tellement revoir leur spectacle !
I went to go see Stomp live once. I’ll never forget it
the guy with the tatts played his role really well especially when he bonked the big guy in his head lol
LOL little dude was like, "I'll just bop myself in the head, I think that would be a little less painful than the big dude's fist..."
Big dude was like "That's what I thought..."
10 years later but who cares!!
I was there live.
I remember this.
😮I didn't even know this was on TH-cam.
Wow.
So, many memories.😊
One of the best shows I've ever been to. Period ❤
I've went to a concert in Lisbon some years ago, they are great!!!!
I can't remember when I had seen this before, they are awesome.
The fact that we've evolved as a species to make music like this is mind-blowing
What really amazes me is that we stopped doing it this way.
What’s mind blowing is people actually pay to watch this
@@dandan7973 what really drops my jaw is how edgy you are. or how edgy you were a year ago
I went to see these in London over 20 years ago it's still amazing now as it was then
I’m watching on my iPad and laughing too. It’s amazing they use everyday items and make music!
Ich erstaune immer wieder wieviel Talent diese Gruppe zusammenbringt. Vielen dank für die Show.
