I have been following Mr Sorin for a long time, and I see that his Notebook repair work is undoubtedly the best on TH-cam, because he is not afraid of making mistakes, but when it happens he follows a logical path that allows him to repair the fault. the capacitor was only replaced to have 14min of time to start advertising :P
I just had one of these fixed yesterday. It came in with a no display issue. Found the problem to be a shorted capacitor near the Realtek audio chip
i've seen this laptop quite a few times. twice for a complete housing swap. They could have made the frame hinge point a bit more stout.

It's not really with the laptop, main reason why Sorin fixes so many Nitro 5 is because almost everyone bought the Nitro 5, More volume more repairs.
@@notnaaferrer i have the acer nitro and i can say it's a good laptop, but most owners are careless about the heat, it needs a good air flow and maintenance. Mine is repaired and without issues
Why? I bought off ebay used, works good but I often hear a faint buzzing sound near the pcie nsata slot

Hi all i want to know i have a acer aspire i5 the thing is that power light solid blue and a orange solid light if you power the laptop on there is no picture on the screen and it restart loop after 30s or so

There needs to be a reality gameshow. An A-team of experts, i.e Sorin , Lou Lou and that hill billy guy bogies in some faults and contestants race the clock to repair. Don't repair in time, you get dunked in a pool of cheap AliExpress flux.
