Textar T4146-FF A14 429165 05/14
New brake pad pt No: 04465-30491
700 dollars at Lexus of north Miami just to do that lol thanks for the vid poster.
Sorry took me so long to put up the Original part number for those of you who had asked check it out in the description I put up the old one and the new part number thanks let me know if you have any other comments or concerns
Akebono pads don't squeak and no dust.
This video helped a lot, thanks 👍🏾
Did you use synthetic brake lube? Also should have cleaned off the old brake dust before installing the new pads.
You didn’t resurface nor change the rotors!
Hi. I didn’t need to it only needed the break pads. The break pads were still good but I decided to change it early.
Why you pad slapping, it’s going to cause the rotors to squeak
could you kindly provide the Original Toyota/Lexus Brake pad number
didn't think you would have to bleed them unless you take the whole caliper off
That's just what I was thinking, I'm about to do my brakes on my R C 300h which I'm hoping are just as easy, but wouldn't be doing any bleeding?
@Andy Burnett did you bleed the breaks or no?
You right about the aftermarket brake pads.. only use oem. Learn my lesson
Thanks man!
Do you have a similar video for the rear break pads? On my 2015 RC 350 F-Sport, they are different than those found in the front.
So y’all just gonna not explain how to do the rear brakes?
It's BRAKE not break
Durk Jenkins thanks I did not see that
Is the same for 2016 rc 200t
I got it at autozune has life time warranty
I don’t have it. Cause I threw them out.
good video 👍
Don’t break your brake pads
Fail
Question
Did you try Monroe Ceramic pads?
Cjcastillo6 no I don’t thinks so. I put original parts directly from Lexus.
Hi bro, thank you for the video. This is very helpful! how do you change the rear pads? Is it the same?
Billy Nguyen the rear is easy than front.
@@mr.foshow5474 thank you! i feel more confident now :)
@@mr.foshow5474 how to do the rear
I didn’t get to do that’ I sold my car. I sure it’s easy then the front ones. But do check around before you start
Amateur ! No grease?
I would use ceramic brake grease on those back plates to prevent squeaking
Which pads have you used? I'm currently using Akebono and they squeal like a mother! Ik guessing it's the pads... but hoping it's not at the same time. The OEM pads are way too dusty.
I got them from the Lexus dealership. A friend of mine has shop and was order through them.
Make sure to apply brake lube to the contact parts. I just did mine and no sound whatsoever.
Do you need to bleed both sides after installing the brake pads? What happens if you don’t bleed them?
Nothing, you don’t need to bleed the brakes when your just changing pads. Just press and release the brake pedal a few times to return the brake fluid that was pushed back into the reservoir when the pads were removed.
