The ancestor of every Muslim living in India today was a native Indian once in the past. They all converted to Islam like few others had adopted Buddhism, Sikhism, or Christianity due to the atrocities of Sanatana Brahmans. Even Chandragupta Maury, who ruled the largest parts of India, had ultimately adopted Jainism and his grandson Ashoka adopted Buddhism.
Not really about 20% of Indian subcontinent Muslims are migrants mainly Shaikh,Sayyad,Pathan and Mughal, Shaikh and Sayyad are mostly descendants of Arabs, Pathans of Afghans and Mughal of central asian Turks.

The question is why many prominent Indian TH-camrs today seem obsessed with portraying Muhammad Ali Jinnah as a villain and holding him solely responsible for the partition of India.
When Muhammad Ali Jinnah joined the Congress in 1906, he envisioned a secular state. However, something caused him to part ways with the Congress. Many reasons are discussed, but the key point behind his departure is often overlooked.
Jinnah advocated for the rights of all, including both the majority and minorities. But Gandhi and Nehru’s focus was primarily on Hindus, neglecting the rights of Muslims. It was due to this marginalization that the Muslim League was formed to safeguard Muslim rights.
When the Muslim League was established, Jinnah still spoke of a secular state within the Congress. But eventually, he became convinced that the Congress was only concerned with Hindu rights and positions of power. Disheartened, Jinnah left for London.
Everyone knows Allama Iqbal. He was the one who first envisioned a separate state for Muslims. Allama Iqbal recognized that Muslims would only receive their rights if they had their own country, as the Congress was not interested in Muslim rights.
After Jinnah went to London, several Muslim League leaders wrote letters urging him to return. Allama Iqbal played a crucial role in bringing him back.
When Jinnah returned, he championed the cause of Muslim rights, realizing that Muslims would not get their due rights in a united India. Hence, the idea of a separate state for Muslims emerged.
In 1940, the Lahore Resolution, also known as the Pakistan Resolution, was passed at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore, introducing the concept of the two-nation theory, which laid the foundation for Pakistan's creation.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah was gravely ill but kept his illness a secret for the sake of securing Muslim rights.
