      That's very unfair. Anyway, my experience is that ladies do far more talking
      I think the man's frame is much🎉 more important. If the man has a poor frame, it's almost impossible for a lady to have a good frame. Men lead because their position is more upright, they are generally taller, so can see the space ahead of them, and are usually more powerful. This isn't a male/ female conflict thing, it's just fundamentals. You rarely see a tall lady dancing with a significantly shorter man. I'm tall and have danced a bit with a taller lady, and I must say, very powerful lady. It was difficult, even though I'm an experienced competitor. Finally, can I just make this comment on dance Competitions. They show an artificial side of dancing, and should be re-named posture Competitions. As Bill Irvine once said " there are three important things in dancing, posture, posture, and posture."
