I'm a Roman Catholic and I know the Osmond's are Mormons, but to me the Osmonds, Donny and Marie, were like saints in show business compared to many of their contemporaries in show biz who were mostly a bunch of degenerates, even boasting about their debauchery. The Osmonds were, remained and are, still decent people while being criticized for being "goody-goodies" as if there is something wrong with that. I enjoy watching and listening to the Osmonds, even today. God bless them.

Though her son's suicide was so sad. With such riches, why not take Michael out of school and get him help? There is always the pressure of some producer pushing perfectionism. These lucky stars, with questionable taste in music, should just take breaks on islands they own. A quest to balance fame and family .. the horrors, thank goodness for the Flamingo and bigger dressing room displaying her wit and humor!

They worked their Butts off when they were just little kids & on top of being on Andy Williams Show every week where they had to learn something new to perform that week like learning to ice skate or play a new instrument in less than a week they also had school work & their parents kept them grounded by still doing chores at home, let’s see you do all that & see how easy you think their life was. Then when they left Andy to go out on their own they constantly were going from one place to another doing concerts & appearances on other TV shows & still had school work & when home had chores also they set up for their own shows when doing concerts they didn’t have a crew for that like some acts do. No their lives were not easy or cushy, those kids worked hard. I know their story well, have heard them tell about it for years now cause I have been a fan since 1969, met the Family except for Virl & Tom once in 73 & I love & respect this Family so much & it makes me Mad when people think & say they had an easy life. So don’t make comments about them that you have no clue about. 😡
