What is meant by Dr. Javed saying"Inflation has no relationship with currency devaluation"??

@@imad_uddin but devaluation adds to inflation. Fuel and goods imported are paid in dollars which cause price hike in rupee due to devaluation of rupee.

Uzair I didn't understand your reference of Indian Aadhar Card for poverty alleviation. Can you please detail this in your next podcast or else where, how this was done in India?

Let me tell you..adhar alone didn't helped.. after adhar the government made a mission to link people bank account with adhar and open new adhar linked bank account of the poor...as the opening account was free it was done rapidly... Along with digital penetration in India and sudden rise in phones all over country it made expansion of welfare schemes directly to the poor...
Now as a result the welfare schemes are going to people in need and government have more accurate data too...not to forget that India was always a welfare state however this digitization helped to suture the leakage of funds...
However many old schemes need to be integrated in this system too...also if everything goes well it will remove unwanted people gaining the state amnesty ...also within next 10 year i am hopeful India to bring a direct tax reform to increase it's taxation base...

⭐Professor compared exchange rate fluctuations in Pakistan with India and Bangladesh. India and Bangladesh have 500billion and 70 billion dollars in there reserves respectively whereas Pakistan have 8 billion dollars. The pressure on rupee increases when dollar is unavailable or scarce in market which sets the value and adds to devaluation of rupee as per my understanding. So its not sepculation in Pakistan which adds to rupee depreciation sir.
Secondly majority of goods are imported in Pakistan and whose price is paid in dollars so when rupee deprecate the cost of import and cost of product in rupee goes up which is inflation so how come the professor said that exchange rate fluctuation don't add to inflation.
