They are strong enough and internally padded, don't expect problems there. The BIG problem in bike accidents is breaking your neck and becoming quadriplegic. I know many young healthy guys whose Life is ruined. And they have 40-50 years ahead, being spoon fed, ass and mouth wiped, sponge washed, the works, absolutely unable to help themselves. A mess, and NO helmet saves you from that.
They’re working while Americans eat themselves up to 400lbs in front of their TVs.

Я в 1979 г. делал шлём у гаража, матрицу сделал из армированного гипса и соеденив половинки хомутами и проволокой, намазал эп. смолой , накидал тряпок, вставив в неё волейбольную камеру, накачал воздухом, это лучше чем они просто мажут, ( меньше эпоксидной смолы, шлём легче и прочнее, нет дефектов на нём. Хотел ещё накачивать горячею воду вместо воздуха и в матрицу эл. спираль для нагрева и быстрого отвердения смолы.
В магазине шлём из стекловолокна дороже и прочнее чем из пластика, дома он получается недорого, ( несколько ненужных тряпок и 100 грам эпоксидной смолы.

Genuinely terrifying
The Engineer who *designed* these helmets and the production method is a GENIUS. It's an incredibly complex job, lots of completely different manufacturing steps (which are not shown) to get all elements used in final assembly. We are shown the fiberglass shell molding but not how the fabric sleeve, straps, foam pads, transparent visor, etc. are made. Incredible. Much respect from an Industrial Engineer.

wow so many things..a reputable company formulates the layers, resin, and design to achieve a good quality SAFETY STANDARD passing helmet that may save your life. This company mixes resin with a spoon in yesterdays lunch container on the floor with a spoon.

Bei 0.20 richtig TIEF einatmen, das ist so Gesund - keine Maske an Nase und Mund, keine Schutzbrille - keine Schutzvorrichtung am Ventilator, egal wenn mal ein paar Finger weg sind. Und wie immer tragen alle Mitarbeiter ganz tolle Barfuß-Sicherheitsschuhe, da passiert schon nix. Ein wenig Säure hier ein wenig Säure dort ohne Handschuhe. Die meisten sitzen in der ach so gesunden Hocke-Position. Da brauchts auch keine Orthopäden.

I am a time served aviation and MOD graded fibre glass laminator , considering these are safety devices being produced I would think your better off with a baseball cap , every one has a different amount of matting , the positioning and jointing of the mat is different in every one, the catalyst has got to be a measured quantity for the volume of resin otherwise the polymer matrix could be unstable , we used to make these in the UK but with pollution restrictions etc meant that expensive filter upgrades stopped us from doing them , so the UK government in their infinite wisdom let someone make them that extracted pollution to fresh air now do you see what this NET ZERO rackett is we are all being conned.

The painter always has a "tack rag at hand" I'd be pretty happy if I was able to produce that in my garage, minus the certifications of course. I would be so excited I would probably jump and "hit my head"... I'll just say; BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!

Wow those helmets are made really dodgy & pretty flimsy with 3 maybe 4 of the most sketchiest layers of fiberglass to make the protective outer shell of the helmet plus throw in the weakest looking chin strap on earth that has a plastic connector / disconnector from a crappy bicycle helmet & then just hammer in couple of nails & bend them over to properly secure the chin strap in place & to finish it all off with a plastic visor that doesn't fit properly & no doubt will let the rain, dust, bugs & whatever into your helmet & onto your face.. I'm glad I live in a country that has some strict safety standards because there is no fu*king way in hell these helmets would even pass the inspection phase let alone an actually crash test or safety test

If that's all you can get (or even afford) it's obviously better than nothing. Nevertheless I feel significantly safer with my CE marked modular helmet, if only because it was produced to a very reproducible standard, and the production processes are subject to stringent control, and sample inspection / testing. It's also very user friendly, and has all the useful features.

apologies but these mass produced helmets are just mere formality . . . there should be strict law that all safety gears must go through a standard quality control . . . these helmets in case of an accident will provide no safety what so ever . . . if i am not wrong it will rather cause more harm than protection . . . but then again i live in a country where a guy is riding the bike with the helmet strapped on the petrol tank and when the traffic police pulls him on the side and asks . . . where's your helmet . . . he points towards the strapped helmet on the tank .

well they are making cheap products so don't expect a better working condition for them and they are definitely being paid cheaply too, and its a job where the employer doesn't really care about their employees because they can just replace them easily, yes its a sad thing to see but that's their reality.
