@@ParentingCentral how do you distinguish visually between the Aer and the Aer+ cot (say, if you only had one in front of you...)? I wanted to buy the Aer+ cot secondhand but if someone is selling it without a box, is there a clear visual way to identify an Aer+ cot as such? A specific tag? A label? Thanks in advance!!
@@orozov7 Hi ! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I had to really think this one through how to tell them apart easily because visually they're almost identical. BUT I should have let you know straight away the most important thing which is the Aer+ cot fits the Aer strller and the Aer cot fits the Aer+ stroller so whichever you buy will definitely fit. The easiest visual clue I can think of for which is which is the Joolz Aer+ cot has a white button on the fold lever on the foot of the cot and the Aer cot just has a plain black lever. But if you're buying second hand and they've only shown a side view of the cot the other thing to look for is when the sun hood isn't extended out the Aer+ sunhood has two fabric panels and then Aer has three panels. Let me know if this makes sense!

Thanks for this! Yes, I studied your video, and every image I could find before I bought it secondhand and thought the button and awning were the only differencs. I had also contacted Joolz, that suggested I look at the serial number, that in the end wasn't really even where they had indicated. The serial number gives the impression it's an Aer cot, but it has the white button, and updated closing mechanism! The awning is not two-fold, though, as you say (see photos, I'll append to this comment). So then I'm stumped! Even the company gave a bit of a weird answer.... so maybe some kind of prototype Aer/Aer+ hybrids are floating around, too... 😅 🤷♀️
Sure is! Although I probably wouldn't bother putting a Joolz Aer bumper bar on the Joolz Aer+ because you'd have to take it off to fold the stroller. But if I had an original Aer, even if I already had the original Aer bumper bar, I'd replace it with the Aer+ bumper bar to be able to leave it on the stroller to fold it.
Hello! I’ve got a silly question I cannot find the answer to! Is the bumper bar for the carry cot and seat the same one? So if I had the carrycot with the bumper bar, would that bumper bar then fit the stroller seat? Thank you so much :)
Very reasonable question! The bumper bar on the cot is narrower than the one for the seat so they are different. But you're definitely not the first person to ask.
I know. They're functionally identical. So it's so confusing. It's just the clips underneath the stroller seat that the leg rest attaches to (and also attach the seat to the frame) are closer together on the Aer+ compared to the Aer+. So at least they did design the Aer+ leg rest with both spots to thread the straps through. Which is great, but also just adds to the confusion around what fits what.
I haven't tried it, but it would connect to the hood. It just wouldn't have anything to secure at the end of the cot. But the hood of the cot extends so far it's nearly completely covered anyway.
Does anyone know if the front wheels are interchangeable between the two models?! One of mine is broken on the Joolz Aer but the replacement wheels are out of stock everywhere online, although I've found some Aer+ wheels!

Is the Aer Cot compatible with the Aer+ stroller? And can still fold with the Aer cot attached to the Aer+ stroller?
Hi TK, yes the original Aer cot fits the Aer+ (and the Aer+ cot fits the Aer)
Both will fold with either stroller.

That's correct..the Aer leg rest won't fit the Aer+.
