I live in Germany and decided to get the Joolz Aer+ because of the full flat position you can purchase here in the EU. You don’t get this with the Bugaboo. I have a 2 year old and expecting my second one in 3 months. With the full flat position I can even put a newborn in the buggy although I wouldn’t do it for long walks. I love you can add a baby bassinet and a little board for the older child. It’s an amazing buggy for city life. You can even add the newborn car seat on top of the buggy. Best purchase ever :) Thanks for the great review!!
I live in Taiwan. I decided to buy Joolz are+. I have used for over one year. It’s a very great stroller for uneven street of Taiwan. But the chair back zipper design is really inconvenient.😂😂😂
These were the two I was between a year ago before my baby was born. I ended up getting the Joolz Aer+ so I could take baby on walks as a newborn in the bassinet. Happy with my decision. I went on so many walks, and newborns sleep well in the bassinet. It isn’t healthy developmentally to keep babies in their car seats for very long, especially if the car seat isn’t in its base or the baby will be sleeping (as newborns do). Joolz Aer+ has been great as my everyday stroller in a city.
Thank you for this review!!! I’ve been researching travel strollers for several weeks and narrowed my search to both of these strollers. I’m purchasing the Joolz today!
Thanks for the comparison. I just bought the Joolz Aer+ and almost had buyers remorse due to all the great things I keep hearing about the Bugaboo on travel forums. Though I will miss the larger basket, your review convinced me to keep my Joolz! One question- Do you know if I have to remove the seat to attach my Nuna Pipa lite RX car seat?
I have an RX (non-lite) personally but it attached without seat removal. It gets a little tight where the car seat needs to sit in between the stroller hinge so you may need to push it in a little there.
I tested both of them in the store and they both seemed a little short for a tall almost 3 year old. I live in NYC so I need something light, we had the Minu and it is cumbersome when carrying up subway stairs while holding a toddler's hand. What do you recommend?
Our family is a huge fan of baby jogger strollers. We love our city sights. We are trying to buy a travel stroller that can be placed in the overhead for our upcoming airplane trips. What would you recommend between butterfly, joolz aer +, baby jogger tour 2 or the ergo metro + We don’t need any infant coverage cause we elect not to travel till babies are 1. It would solely be for traveling, biannual
If budget is not an issue, I would do Joolz. Otherwise I think you would be happy with Babyjogger or Ergo metro. Ergo is actually running a sale right now for $75 off: shrsl.com/4ge3i
I would really really appreciate it if you can do a comparison between the Uppababy Minu V2 and the Joolz Aer Plus ... struggling badly to find any reviews of these and which one to get ❤
@thestrollermom aww thank you for your reply. Looking forward to it 💜 For me I think will be child's comfort, durability and compactness... which obviously I know joolz is much more compact compared to minu but just worried about the durability and sturdiness of it as I've yet to see it in person yet.
Thank you for the comparison-really helpful! I have a quick question though: my baby is turning one and we are looking for a light stroller to use it on a daily basis too(stores, etc). Is the upright position on these two the same as on Nuna trvl and Minu2? Thank you in advance!
I’m so stuck in some stroller black hole. Seriously where is the perfect stroller?!? Does the Joolz footrest find with the stroller? And is it adjustable? I hate the lack of peek a boo window. Oh Emily please help me find a stroller 😭 Looking for the tall back to have it last longer since my little is already 15 months. Compact but will be our everyday adventure stroller. Seat upright upright. Peek a boo window is a plus but wondering if I can take off the canopy and add one myself….hmmmn What would you choose?
Yes you can fold the stroller with the Joolz footrest. Joolz has that small area of ventilation which is better than nothing. I would not change out the canopy, but would look at something else. What about the minu?
Thank you for this comparison! Still not sure, which one to choose. In our suburbs, we walk downhill (uphill) very often. I wonder, if the bugaboo basket could hold everything when reclined (up to 15 % downhill recline) or Joolz would be safer in that situation. Thanks 😊
Thank you for the review. I am purchasing the stroller for my 2+4 year old to use interchangeably. My challenge with most travel strollers is my husband is 6’5 and tends to kick the bar at the back (thats why we had the uppa baby vista2). Would you say one over the other? I like the butterfly because of the extra inch on the seat…but otherwise would you recommend something else?
Maybe the Joolz, but just a bit... The only other one I would maybe recommend looking at is the Ergo because it has an adjustable handlebar. It isn't that much taller though, if there are features on the Joolz that you are liking more.
Great video! When using these strollers with their car seat adapters/ car seat, can the stroller seat be removed? I find it looks a bit strange with both the car seat and toddler seat on at the same time
Thank you for this great review.. I think I will choose this one. I wanted to ask what did you mean about a different feature if you purchase the joolz aer from Europe?
Would either of these be okay with cobblestones (we live and travel in Europe) or is there snother travel stroller one should look at for that use case?
Hi! Super random question. Would you happen to know if the shoulder strap from the Joolz is compatible with the butterfly? I love the strap on it and would buy it just to put it on the butterfly!
Please can someone advise me on a compact stroller for holidays for a 3 year old. Is it worth paying more for this age group or is it better to getter a cheaper version of these. I already have a stroller I use to walk.with only needing it to fit in car.
If you are not wanting super high quality, I would look at the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 (amzn.to/3VaQDAC) stroller or the Zoe Traveler ($15 off with my link) glnk.io/zlzjm/the-stroller-mom.
Thanks for your review and I am purchasing the Butterfly because it has the leg rest build-in while the Joolz one doesn't. For the belly bar, you need to pay for extra too. Overall the Joolz one is more pricy than butterfly. But if budget isn't an issue, I would go for the Joolz one.
@@thestrollermom Please buy 2 of them with the twin connectors and compare with the Bumprider Connect 3 and Nuna TRVL double.
