    "That's not my hairspray," says the bald guy--like his sense of humor! Even in the video description. Good job explaining.

    My cabinet door has three hinges … do all three have to be loosened to adjust the door in vertical direction ?

    • @FieldGuidetoDIY
      @FieldGuidetoDIY  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No. You can loosen two and adjust up and down .

    How do you remove cabinet door with this type hinge so I can paint?

    • @FieldGuidetoDIY
      @FieldGuidetoDIY  ปีที่แล้ว

      Carolyn, I suggest you remove the two screws above and below the big round cut-in. Once you do that for both (if your door has two hinges or all (if more than two), the door should be able to be worked free from the hinges. Paint the door and when dry work the hinges back into the holes. I personally would make every effort to avoid getting paint in those big round cut-ins. Otherwise, it may be difficult getting your door back onto the hinges. Please let me know whether or not this helps!

    How do you get the doors to stay closed..are my hinges worn out and warped. Most of the cabinet will close but I have a few that won't close all the way

    • @FieldGuidetoDIY
      @FieldGuidetoDIY  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It sounds like they are too close to the cabinet, Mark, so it is rubbing against the face frame of the cabinet. Try to adjust it out and see if that helps.

      @@FieldGuidetoDIY I have and i measured the other cabinet hinges and how they are set and they all work good. They close just the way they should but a couple cabinets don't. I wonder if opening them too far has sprung the metal piece that keeps them closed

    What if the doors are aligned right, but some of them do not pull closed ? How is this adjusted ?

    • @FieldGuidetoDIY
      @FieldGuidetoDIY  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are they self closing hinges? Is there a spring inside the hinge?

    • @truthseekerKJV
      @truthseekerKJV 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@FieldGuidetoDIY There is no spring. The hinges are all identical. Some pull the door closed very well, and some not only have no pull to close them, they actually push the door slightly open when held closed.

    Is there any way to adjust a cabinet door that opens too wide, causing it to bang into the wall?

    • @FieldGuidetoDIY
      @FieldGuidetoDIY  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m afraid you could swap the hinge. You can purchase a pair with a smaller opening.

    Wrong, you can utilize a Lighter Duty cordless drill with the torque Dialed down to like #6 or 8. I finished in half the time without any issues
